We had a lovely room, up stairs in the new annexe with a very very comfortable bed and I slept really well. The decor was electic, rustic and more importantly clean. Not having a door on the bathroom though was not ideal and I didn't like the macerator on the loo, but just for one night it was ok and...

Beautiful example of a castle.... This was built by Richard the Lionheart Amazing views from the top although slightly steep walk... Definitely worth a visit! When we were there, there were people dressed up in costume and showing how people lived at the time in settlements. Really interesting! Make sure you stop by the tea house on the walk back...

We stayed on the campsite for one night and that was more than enough. Very expensive. The toilet facilities were, quite frankly, dirty. A small light over the sink was the only lighting available as the main lights did not work. Despite the fact that it was still August, most of the toilet block was shut up. There was nowhere...

We stayed for two nights in the traditional wooden caravan at the start of August on our way home to the UK. We are a professional couple who travel to France often and have two small children - 4 and 18 months. The children loved the caravan - it was really unusual and great fun. The site is a great...

Stopover one night. Pro's - location excellent, easy to find, beautiful grounds, nice and plentiful breakfast. There is use of a small swimming pool and bar next door on the campsite, trampoline and play area. Con's - the house is damp, the towels are smelly and damp and there are no locks on the doors, no smoke alarms in the...

We stayed here one night en route to Parc Asterix. The site is primarly a campsite but with a beautiful house that you can stay in. We booked an superior quadruple room, but when we were shown to our room, it was two rooms and not one ! You cannot check in until 5.30pm so bear that in mind when...

We stayed here for just one night as a stopover and were met by the owner who was very helpful and made us some coffees and provided us with some home made cake! The place is very rustic but we found it very charming. We were too late for dinner but we were provided with a lovely breakfast of breads...
