Booked this hotel as a base for a Christmas shopping trip to Cardiff. It was perfect. Rooms were well equipped and clean and the shower was fabulous! Staff were incredibly helpful (we were a party of 7 and they managed to book us a 7 seater taxi each time). Breakfast was continental with lovely fresh fruit and scrambled egg also...

We stayed here last weekend with our niece and her husband. Very convenient for Newport, Cardiff (M4) and the Usk valley. Very nice greeting by the owner on arrival, and shown to our room, the suite. Lovely main bedroom, the other room was more than adequate. The bathroom was superb. Very comprehensive continental breakfast, but was also offered scrambled egg...

Large parking area, friendly welcome at reception, nice decoration throughout. Room was a good size (we stayed in Liberty), heated floor in the bathroom. Love the honesty basket in the rooms. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Would stay again.

Clean, friendly and loved the outside seating area. Great for families, children loved the big bath. We sat out playing cards watching the sun set. Loved the separate sleeping areas. Lots of attention to detail, it may not be a 5star hotel but it was a 5 star stay for a road trip, offering a bit of luxury. We loved...

Nice hotel, slightly hard to find. Wasn't aware there was no cooked breakfast. So went to the local Beefeater for both breakfast and evening meal, as the local restaurant was fully booked. Made it uncomfortable. Slightly expensive for just a small room although well fitted out.

No issues but this is def not 5* It's more like a trust house forte style rooms with posh taps Very polished website gives a false impression. Continental breakfast only so nothing warm served at all. Very prefab style but expensive furniture Expensive for what it is

My mum and I stayed here for one night whilst we went to see Beyoncé in Cardiff so it was a flying visit. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted clean, reasonably priced compared to the £200 at the cheapest they wanted in Cardiff,l and helpful. We didn't have the breakfast so cannot comment on that however Sue did...

Excellent room with lots of oak woodwork and designer lighting. Room had an excellent rain forest shower and air conditioning. Nice touch was also the honesty box as there are no shops in the area. Very quiet area and well thought out black out curtains gave a great nights sleep. Nice continental breakfast of toast, cereals, fruit, ham and cheese...

Just wanted to say thanks so much for a lovely stay and making our wedding night extra special for us by adding your special touch to the room. The room was amazing and unique. Loved the breakfast and would definitely recommend staying here whether it's for leisure, business or a romantic stay. It's in a great location away from the...
