    We came into a warm welcome from Pat, she checked us in quickly and we slowly walked through the B&B looking at all of the old pictures and taking in how amazingly clean this historic building was.     We stayed at The Goodwin Hotel during our recent visit to the Weymouth area in early April. Even though it was off season and we were the only ones staying in the hotel, we felt completely welcome and at home!     I stayed at The Goodwin to be close to an event I was attending, and honestly it is the only option in town. That said, it was comfortable, clean, quiet and the owner was very hospitable. There is a restaurant down stairs with limited hours, but the food is good and all the locals I spoke to raved about it....
