We stayed in this hotel in May 06 at the end of an exhausting day cycling through the Sierra de Gredos. Pedro Bernardo is a nice little village in the mountains, quite unremarkable but a very useful night stop. The hotel El Cerro was just a pleasure to stay in from start to finish.

It's not flash by any means. However our room was ENORMOUS with a comfy bed, a kitchen area and a massive bathroom as well. It was spotlessly clean. It also had a spectacular view over the valley!!

We were the only people staying in the hotel as it's still early in the year but the little man running the place could not have been more helpful. He helped us with our bikes, he opened the restaurant and cooked us fabulous food which we ate on the terrace watching the sun go down. If you're happy with a cute, unassuming little place, this hotel is a joy. We talked about coming back in the summer and just chilling out, it was such a pleasure to stay in.

3 Thank Ramsden
