The place is peaceful and beautiful.
Rosa, our host is nice and helpful. Her family made a place perfect to have a disconnected and rejuvenating stay in a refined and neat decoration. We came from France with 5 kids who enjoyed play with the Catalan and Spanish kids, to go to the farm everyday to see goats, sheep's and rabbits...
I hightly recommend this place.

This place is great! This ancient tiny village of four houses and a church in the pre-pyrenees was abandoned in the sixties, and then very tastefully renovated into several vacation apartments. The old details were left intact, such as the walls made of natural stone and the cobblestone streets. Huge windows were put in place that overlook the valley and the mountains. The apartments are luxuriously furnished and decorated with a great eye for detail. All necessary kitchenware was present as well, with some childrens-plates and cutlery alongside the nice china, which i found very thoughtful. A bottle of wine was waiting for us at our arrival. Hostess Rosa gave us a wealth of information on the surroundings, about markets to visit, the festival in the nearest village, and the best swimming hole in the river. She is a very warm and welcoming person. Highly recommended! Wifi worked okay but was spotty. Really, you should not be checking your email while you are here anyway.

We spent 4 nights at Cal Sodhi and it was incredible! Rosa and her Family build a unique and special place in a perfect piece of land. We felt we got all what we need and more…It was perfect!
The house was fully equipped, the location is breath taking, our kids enjoyed the stay and the Activity around the place.
Thanks, a lot for your generous hospitality!
Moshe.

We love this place and have been back many times, mainly in the winter season when we have visited near by Andorra and Massella (ski resort on the Spanish side of the border).
We always have a very warm welcome, the owners live in the small village and own all the properties which they rent for short stays. The quality of the accommodation is fantastic with log burners, and leather sofas etc
We enjoy the peace, quiet and chance to unwind and catch up on a good read or two with a nice bottle of red!
Walking and mountain biking from the property is great with plenty of choice including walks into nearby villages to enjoy the local restaurants. We travel by 4x4 and often just take off on the local tracks to explore the area which has fantasic views. The owners can organise a local guide with a 4x4 vehicle who can take you on tours of the area and upto some amazing views!
We always drive down from the UK and would be happy to provide driving routes, estitmated costs and suggested over night stops in France if anyone wants them. We have flown into Barcelona and hired a car but we like the drive through France, so usually go this way now.
The owners kids are great, the dog runs away if not tied up and he gets plenty of loving from the kids (and they are in the middle of nowhere!).
Bad points - a VERY minor one would be that they attract Spanish families and groups at the weekends who can be a bit noisy if you have been there during the week, this is not a critism and is more an observation to make sure that if you are staying over a weekend be prepared to join in or take your ear plugs if you want an early night!

We had one week at Cal Sodhi, staying in one of the properties. We like accommodation that is of a good quality that is in a quiet and picturesque location. Cal Sodhi certainly lived up to our expectations. The property does not have a pool, however, the owners, Rosa and Kami, intend to have one in place for next season. Having said that, our experince was so good, we would go back whether the pool was in place or not. The family are rightly very proud of their hard work to make their village live once again and are very, very conscious of caring for and protecting this beautiful area. All the family are incredibly helpful and friendly, with a special mention for Rosa's Dad. I parked the car next to the old trough to clean my windscreen and within minutes he was out with a hosepipe ready for me to wash the whole car. There are so many things to do and see in the area, but when you can walk out of your property and sit and look at the magnificent views, you don't need to go very far!

I can only say that it is my personal paradise and that I will return whenever I can. Thank you Pepe for those unhurried talks and stories that I thoroughly enjoyed and for those walks through the mountains. And to Jordi for your kindness and always being aware of your clients.

Hi,
We stayed at the property last summer. We were in the top floor apartment, though we only had the use of 1 bedroom, it did have 3! Great spot!
