We called in for lunch on our way home from visiting family. Outside freezing fog inside roaring log fire and a warm welcome. We were shown to a table and warned that they were very busy and there may be a delay before we got food. Our drinks and food orders were taken promptly and we sat back admiring the...

The food was lovely although I do have some slight suggestions, I opted for the pate and toast Which was lovely and plentiful however was just missing some chutney on the side just to give it some moisture and added loveliness,...

The room was dark, dark panels and dimly lit. We had pre ordered our meals but still had a long wait before anyone came to ask us...

Went here for Sunday lunch as a group of 12 and enjoyed an excellent meal with efficient and courteous service. The staff were extremely patient while we waited for 3 of our party to turn up half an hour late. There was no attempt to rush us through the meal. Portions were good and additional vegetables were served on request...

Super food and service in a great location. Met some family friends for lunch. One of them had roast beef and the largest Yorkshire Pudding I've ever seen. Fun location with an interesting art gallery attached.

Needed somewhere to stop for a bite of lunch to break up a journey. Remembered Wolds Village from a brief visit 2 or 3 years ago. A little out of the way but worth finding and well placed if you enjoy exploring this beautiful part of East Yorkshire. The food was excellent quality and real value for money. The site...
