Stayed here for one night recently. Røros is a smalltown with a rich historical heritage, well worth visiting. The hotel is placed outside the town centre, about a 10-15 minutes walk from the train station. Basically all expectations for a standard hotel was fulfilled, nice and clean room, good service at the front desk and good, although not fantastic, food...

With its mixture of old and new, Røros hotel is a nice and charming surprise. Log fire in the reception, spa downstairs and a friendly staff - you feel welcome. When you get hungry in the evening you may wonder when you can eat what and where - but the food is good, although somewhat expensive. Very nice breakfast!

Excellent breakfast with local food. So nice, I don not think I have had any better breakfast at any hotel. Really nice swimming facilities. The room looked old and with old fashioned colours. So 1990. I do not expect that when I order a Superior room..... But the bathroom was fine, and with nice shampoos etc.

Stayed here for 2 nights with work. Røros is a small place and the location Of the hotel is close to all you need in Røros. Just out Of the hotel we went jogging up into the mountains...stunning. This hotel is a familie owned old hotel and not a designhotel. But who cares when the service given and the food...

Our room was a bit worn and might benefit from a remodel but it was OK for a weekend. The bed was good though and the room was in a nice and quiet wing. We were told that the swimming pool area was free for guests and adults only after 6PM. We went to check out the pool area which...

We arrived very early and were so lucky to get our room already at lunch time. This hotel has a good play area outside for children and a huge play room inside also. The swimming pools with sauna, steambath, jacuzzi inside and outside was really great. It was not crowded when we went so really a plus. The room was...

Stayed on our road trip around Norway. I picked it on price. This time a mistake. Staff helpful. Hotel has all the amenities, but our room 119 was in the old section at the end. The room was musty. It gave my wife asthma, and myself hay fever. As the room was at the end it no wi-fi, so had...

We stayed here as part of our anniversary trip all over Norway and this one of the best hotels we stayed in! Very friendly staff and a beautiful location above the town. We asked for an upgrade from our pre booked basic room to one of their newer rooms and the cost weighed up against the quality increase is very...

It is a big hotel, the personell is serviceminded and the rooms were nice and clean. We had a good breakfast, the buffet contained a lot of homemade and local products. The hotel is within walking distance to the old town of Røros

Cosy hotel. Really nice swimming-pools, both inside and outside. Saunas and yacuzzis. Walking-distance to town-center. Lots of parking-spaces outside hotelI I recommend a walk in the cosy streets of Røros. I also found the church and the old cementery interesting.
