We absolutely loved our stay at Cwt Gwyrdd, it is impossible to describe how tranquil the site is, and we loved the fact we had it to ourselves. Having not been glamping before we didn't really know it would be like, but staying here was beyond our highest expectations - everything is just so perfect. Being surrounded by nature and hearing the peaceful sound of the stream was just so relaxing, the hut & pod are furnished beautifully, and the firepit was fantastic. We stayed during the July 2022 heatwave and our son loved the water pistols and paddling in the river. I am a mobility scooter user and was able to get up to the campsite up a fairly gentle grass slope (might be challenging in bad weather but was fine in the dry). If you can manage a couple of steps on the pod / hut / bathroom block you will be fine. Lucie was very helpful and sent videos of the path to the site beforehand so I knew what to expect, and her husband even installed a handrail on the (slightly trickier) bathroom steps before our stay - they are really very helpful people! Nearby accessible places to visit include Newport Sands (you can park on the beach) and an accessible cliff path in Aberporth. Lucie has created a gem of a place and we can't recommend it highly enough. We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic place to stay we loved everything about the set up. Kids ran wild and played in the stream, we enjoyed the camp kitchen and the fire pit was a big hit. Lucie has thought of everything and it’s all high quality. Great location for exploring the coast. Highly recommend this for a family stay.

We had a 4 night stay (2 family couples) in Cwt Gwyrdd at the end of July and had a lovely time. Lucie was friendly and welcoming and suplied us with a delicious breakfast box. We arrived to a bottle of bubbly, sweets in a jar and a vase of wild flowers. The beds in the shepherd's hut and the pod were both really comfortable. The bedding was particularly soft and luxurious (why does my bedding at home never feel like this?!). We had everything we needed in the camp - pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. We really enjoyed cooking on the open fire and the massive marshmallows in the jar were yummy! The shower in the bathroom hut was brilliant- lots of piping hot water! The surroundings are beautiful, we loved hearing the sound of the river. The camp is private and secluded. We enjoyed the short drive to the coast and walking various sections of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path where the scenery is stunning.

My family and I have just returned from the wonderful Cwt Gwyrdd. From the moment we arrived we felt so at home and Lucie was the perfect host! The site was so pretty and spotlessly clean. We have two children who absolutely loved the site especially the comical runner ducks, the inquisitive chickens and the gorgeous pet cats! We had everything you could possibly need for a magical holiday. The position is perfect, close to many pretty villages and stunning beaches, we also had extremely hot weather which made it even more fantastic. The whole holiday was just magical and we can’t wait to return! Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful space to relax and enjoy quality time with loved ones, we can’t wait to return! The pictures don't do justice to this stunning and peaceful spot of paradise in a quiet and secluded part of Pembrokeshire's famous national park. It's perfect for a small group of friends, or two families, and it's completely private. Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun of camping, and to wake up to the sound of birds, the river flowing, and horses in the nearby field. Adults can relax around the campfire enjoying each other's company in a safe and peaceful surrounding. The host Lucie is brilliant - always helpful when needed. Excellent location near Crymych, Newport, Cardigan and breathtaking beaches - and it's in the heartland of Welsh-speaking West Wales, steeped in history and culture. Highly recommended!

This picturesque and private corner of Wales is an idyllic setting to relax and enjoy time with your friends, family, or even alone! My other half loves camping, I like to have a bathroom, so we generally look for 'glamping' provided that I can find somewhere with an outside fire that he could cook on. On this occasion, I was also particularly looking for a Shepherd’s Hut which is full of character. This amazing location had everything that we wanted - and then some. A fire, bathroom hut, log burner, fire-pit, stream – even swingball! Not to mention the incredibly benefit that our friends could come and join us. With 3 different types of accommodation* to choose from, you have the whole secluded spot to yourselves. We stayed for two nights in the Shepherd's Hut, with our friends who live locally able to visit and sleep in the pod on the second night. Each type of accommodation is stylish, beautifully decorated and includes everything that you could need. Combined with the Bell Tent, this is be the perfect place for a family, friends or even a hen party (especially if Lucie's daughter starts the treatment room!) to spend valuable time together. If you are looking for a scenic place to escape to – this is it. Thank you Lucie, we shall return! *Depending on time of year, I believe the Bell Tent is removed in winter

Just arrived home after 4 amazing nights at this glamping site. I can’t recommend it enough! Lucie was extremely helpful and a perfect host. The site itself practically has everything from gas stove to pizza oven for the fire pit. The huts were cleaned to perfection. This was such a good find! We also had dinner at the golden lion pub which was delicious. We did a walk around the Pembroke coast and the sights were unreal We will definitely be back! Amazing!

My family and I stayed at the beginning of August, and although the weather was mixed, we felt cosy and looked after in the secluded beautiful spot. The Hut and Pods were of the highest standards, with personal touches like, fresh locally baked bread, and Marshmallows for toasting on the fire pit, and regular visits from a very friendly cat. Another positive my daughter wanted me to mention was the WiFi. All in all a fantastic week.

Just back from a wonderful relaxing break at this beautiful hidden away site. Just the two of us so we stayed in the cosy Shepherd's Hut. Everything we needed was catered for and great attention to detail by Lucie. One of the best things about Cwt Gwyrdd is that we knew we would have the site to ourselves as Lucie only lets the site to one group at a time. Blessed with amazing weather we sat on the decking in the sunshine, listening to the birdsong and the river running - absolute heaven. I'm sure we'll be back - next time with leaves on the trees, wildflowers growing and probably with family too so we can share this lovely spot with them.
