The outstanding kindness and welcome given by all the family humbled us. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were a font of knowledge and information. The service was second to none and was an additional pleasure to the beauty offered by the Danube. Karen and Michael - visitors from England.

Had a great night here. We arrived tired and quite muddy after riding in bad weather and were able to clean our bikes before having a wonderful home cooked meal. It was great chatting with Dragana and her Mum, who made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of good advice for the upcoming days on the EV 6....

We spend two nights in Ales and Draganas guest house. Rooms are lovely, everything is clean and you can go and swim in the River Danube. Food was very tasty and organic - they are great chefs and super nice people! If you are cycling along EuroVelo 6 you definitely need to visit them :)

I stopped there just for a lunch... and left next day after breakfast. warm welcome, great owners, amazing view and last but not least - really good food. Nice place to take a short break during the hot day but it is good to stay longer, get few beers and talk to Draga and Alex.

When we were there, Draga was not able to meet with us but we were in good hands of Alex and Draga's family. It's a cozy guesthouse with all the amenities a cycle tourist would need. Alex prepared both dinner and breakfast for lunch which was delicious. There was a rolling thunderstorm that rolled in during the afternoon. We had...

I stayed here on a cycling trip and I would recommend it to anyone. we only stayed one night but it would be a great base for staying longer and exploring the area.Especially if you are into bird watching etc. Dragana and Alessandro are a really welcoming couple and you feel like family, not guests. Delicious food and we learnt...

Very warm welcome in this hard to find hostel direct on the bank of the Danube. The staff (a couple) makes an excellent dinner and breakfast. The only problem is the sound of the Thousand frogs in a certain period of the night. But with earplugs you don't hear them anymore. The staff can also give good advice about the...

My partner met Alesandra and Draga last year and was keen to stay again in their guest house when we went together this year. I was not disappointed. The rooms are basic but the location is brilliantly placed for cycling the Danube. Ale and Draga made us really welcome and served us home cooked food washed down with local wine...

This guesthouse was a super surprise for me as I cycled from Serbia to Bucharest. I arrived in Kovin late in the evening and was hoping to find a campground. Instead, I saw handmade signs pointing the way toward a cyclists' guesthouse. I arrived at dusk, met an Italian couple also staying at the guesthouse and who were pedaling their...

Cozy, relaxing, refreshing hostel that you would wish you can stay at forever ;-) Great, friendly, helpful and interesting hosts, delicious food, unique cocktail made with all local ingredients. Perfect spot for all the bikers (the same family owns a bike shop where you can get all your bike gear that u might need), but also for all the other...
