Such a warm welcome, felt comfortable the moment we walk through the door. We will definitely going back for a much longer stay soon. We had the evening meal and the food was superb we felt very spoilt, and very full. Rooms were extremely clean and although our bathroom wasn't en suite it was private to us with soft large...

We spent a week here and had a fantastic time . Gary, Darren and Mark are great hosts and can't do enough for but also give you space to enjoy the facilities. Lovely room, bathroom, terrace and pool, with everything finished to the highest standard with great attention to detail. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Glen and Jane.

We stayed in this hotel on our way back through France. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them in making our short visit so memorable. We loved our room with its comfortable bed and well-appointed bathroom. The gardens are stunning and it was a joy to sit outside and enjoy the abundance of...

Just by luck we came across this most unusual B&B on the web looking out for a 2 night stopover. We ended up staying 4 nights and almost regret not staying longer. This is a modern build in traditional French farmhouse style, with beautifully planted gardens, a fruitful vegetable garden and a large pristine pool. The whole property is spotlessly...

We stayed at this charming hotel twice while exploring the countryside by bicycle. We were shown to a delightful suite with two rooms and a window overlooking the pretty green garden. The food was simple and excellent, our hosts charming and helpful. We would recommend the boeuf de Hongroise and for breakfast, try fresh bread with honey from Tonnay- Boutonne which...

Our first visit to le Prieure, but hopefully not our last. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and the attention to detail is great. Our ground floor room was perfect looking out onto the bird feeders and open countryside. The pool is fantastic, the surroundings perfect and the situation of the gite, just a short walk from the heart of the...

Better than many 4 star hotels we have stayed in while visiting France. Fantastic value, particularly dinner which was absolutely superb. Very welcoming hosts who ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Immaculately clean and beautifully presented in a location that allows easy access to the nearby town and amenities, plenty of wildlife in the beautiful gardens. We...
