Clean, comfortable, friendly service and great breakfast. Arrived after a long drive and detour to a warm welcome and choice of accommodation. We were travelling with our very old dog and she had the perfect spot outside our room, safe and secure. The accommodation is very well designed and the decor well matched to the building. Delightful hosts and a...

My husband and I stayed for four nights in the double room in the old bank building. It was such a lovely space that we didn't even notice that the double bed was smaller than a queen. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was beautiful and huge with claw foot bath and separate shower recess. The room had north facing...

A really lovey place to stay. Very welcoming. Friendly hosts. The bed in the front room was very comfortable. Great rates with a cooked breakfast. Gluten free and lactose free were no problem either. Highly recommend a stay at this B&B. Even some macaroons for the trip home.

Stayed here on Saturday evening (3-9-16) and it was very clean & tidy, we had one of the cottages in lieu of the inside rooms. We arrived about 10am, very early, with the idea of leaving our bags, checking in and grabbing the key as we had a function to attend and would not be back until that evening. Wasn't...

Everything you would want from a B&B and more. Warm, generous hospitality. Lots of special touches, delicious breakfast and amazing coffee. The added joy of staying in a heritage building in a heritage town. Thanks to Andre and Keryl for making our stay so wonderful that we have booked ahead again for same time next year.

Stayed at Sweet Briar on 23rd and 24th March whilst visiting the area from England. We stayed in one of the little cottages in the garden and the sofa bed was big enough for two teenage children. We had booked by email and Andre had answered all our queries prior to us making the booking and had been very helpful,...
