Meals were very nice at reasonable prices and the waitress was very friendly and capable. The pub-room accommodation was fine with a very comfortable bed, but a heater in the room would have been nice, as the temperature during the night dropped to 3 degrees. The motel next door was twice the price. Beautiful town.

Great place to meet up with colleagues after a meeting in Coolamon - a town with a great streetscape, including this Hotel - and one that treasures its history. It's a town that's got a great future. The steaks at the Hotel are very good. Beaut atmosphere. (The mains came out just after the - very good - entrees. But...

Visited this hotel yet again on Saturday night. Greeted warmly by the staff as we arrived and shown to our table. Ordered our food and as usual arrived very quickly. Can recommend the garlic pizzetta, yumm. Then our mains arrived and my Pork Belly with a Red Wine Jus was without a doubt one of the best restaurant meals I...

Arrived at 6.10 pm and was pleasantly surprised by the decor. Had been told about this restaurant so thought would give it a go. What a great looking place and atmosphere. Staff are warm and welcoming as well and attentive the whole time we were there. Our food came quickly even though we could see they were extremely busy. Food...

This is a restaurant review only. The meals here are currently the best in town. There is always a good selection, kids meals, usual pub fare but the current cook sends out beautiful meals which would fit more in a restaurant than a country pub. Above expectations and good value too with good sides of veges, sauce etc. If you...

had the BEST scotch fillet with mushroom sauce and mash and veges the other day. Could have licked the plate. YUM! It was a lovely place to eat and a great playground for the kids. The staff were friendly.

Recommended by our B&B host as being better than the other hotel in Coolamon, great food was let down by variable quality service. The pub is clearly a favourite among the locals. We walked past the other pub, which was comparatively empty. We arrived at about 7pm on 26 April 2015. The bar was very well attended, and we were...

Stayed at the Coolamon Hotel and got take away from the pub. Meals were amazing!!!! Had the starter share plate and it was massive. Had the chicken schnitzel which was obviously crumbed in house with awesome creamy mash and great veggies. The meals were delicious!! Highly recommend.

Love this old country hotel - the food was excellent, staff friendly ! I had a lamb rump which was absolutely the best ! I was aware that this region is prime lamb country and it certainly lived up to it's name ! There is a nice little children's playground out the back and seating for the adults Will plan...
