Had a lovely couple of hours at hintlesham hall today for my mum's 70th birthday. The food was delicious, great sandwiches, fruit scones, clotted cream and jam, chocolate brownie, mini pavlova, mini cheesecake, mini blackberry posset and a endless supply of tea. The service was as always fabulous. The setting is beautiful. Can't wait to go back. A great price...

I am staying here tonight. Fantastic welcome and upgrade to suite. Staff extremely helpful and polite. The rooms are lovely. Just ordered room service and the food is delicious. Would certainly recommend this place. I will certainly be coming back on business and leisure with my family.

Post New Year treat. Spent 2 nights here in a superior double. Very spacious, comfortable and clean but general maintenance is definately required. That being said the staff and food definately make up for that. The staff are very friendly and work well as a team, like a well oiled machine. Credit to kitchen staff, all food was presented beautifully,...

We arrived New Year's Eve and had the most wonderful time. The venue is perfect, the rooms have antique furniture, comfortable bed and all the modern facilities. En suite, tea/coffee, quality toiletries etc. Because of the occasion we were fortunate to have a private room close to the main dining room. The evening started with a piper and a glass...

We spent two days late December in the Cherry Orchard room. We could find no fault at all with the room - it was designated a dog friendly room and had its own garden area although not secure for a small dog. I was surprised though that there was no public space available to us with our dog especially as...

We stayed here for 1 night as our friends had their wedding reception here. We had heard great things and were looking forward to it. On arrival to check in, the receptionist was rather frosty but we just shrugged it off (she didn't tell us what time check out was, what time breakfast was in the morning etc). When we...

Had a spa day given as a gift for Christmas. The massage and facial were very nice but the manicure was worse than what I can do myself. They applied so much polish they were still wet 3 hours later and I ended up just taking it off. Actual treatment rooms are very nice with heated beds and we had...
