Fabulous. I so love this place and have been there 6 times. It is a timeless, beautiful place. I especially love swimming there and looking out to the island. The accommodation is perfect, the night sky is wonderful from the deck and the lighthouse's sweeping light adds to the atmosphere.

I stayed here for two days. Beautiful, awesome! Just enjoy and relax! I was staying in a Safari tent, right to the west coast. Beautiful sunset, still a little breeze all day, what let you feel very comfortable during day heat. The stuff up here is friendly and helpful, tents are clean and well maintained. cool by night: breeze through...

I still keep dreaming about this place even though we have been home for some time. The drive, 200 km on mainly red sand, was half the fun, and the reward was well worth it. We stayed in one of the ensuite log cabins, just back from the beach. It had everything you need - deck with barbecue, fridge, and...

Loved Kooljaman. Camp ground was well shaded where we were, those that chose a view on the cliff did not have shade but they did have a stunning view. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was so beautiful. Pizzas were lovely and so was the restaurant if you wanted a meal. We spent our time fishing, swimming...

First time up to the Cape/One Arm Point way and we wished we had more time! We only had 3 nights here and it was unreal! Kooljaman had everything we needed, even during school holidays they were able to give us 2x powered sites for our campers next to each other over looking the ocean! We had great views and...

Hi, We will look forward to feeding you great pizza again - probably at the same prices, as that 90km really packs a punch in the transport costs! I think it is exacerbated by small amounts of freight to spread out customers also. See you next time, happy travels. Erica

Travelling up Dampier Peninsula you have to stop in at Kooljaman at Cafe Leveque for breakfast or lunch ... or if you are travelling up stop in for breakfast and on your way back stop in for lunch as we did. They have gluten free bread which is a bonus - had the eggs benedict delicious, the only fault the...

Cape leveque is a must visit if heading to Broome!! Once you get there and see the stunning coast line and swim in the pristine water you know the rough drive in is worth it!! Our family stayed in a safari tent and it was great. The sleeping area was bigger than I expected and so was the verandah. The...

I have just spent 5 days at Cape Leveque. It is a stunningly beautiful place. I had tried to book a beach shelter but they were booked out and I ended up with a powered site. It was perfect. The beach shelters are better for families. I enjoyed the company of the other campers and my site was close to...

Hi, great advice on the ants - especially in the shoulder/wet seasons. They are very active September through - April and quite ingenious hunters. So pleased you had a great time. Erica

We had two restful days at the Kooljaman in Cape Leveque/Dampier Peninsula earlier this week as part of our drive around Australia now in day 110 and still having a hoot. The drive up from Broome was one of the best we have had through some spectacular scenery so when we arrived we were in a great mood. That mood...
