A wonderful stay from start to finish. Welcomed by the owners who lit the fire & provided a lovely welcome hamper. The property (woodlands) was perfect -spacious, clean & beautiful bathrooms with very welcome heated floors. The hot tub was a great addition. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lodges. We were greeted on arrival and given some wonderful suggestions on attractions to visit and places to eat. The lodge was warm, clean and cosy and we were even treated to a complimentary welcome basket with a much appreciated bottle of Prosecco and some snacks. Our two year old love the small play park at the top of the hill and all the room to run around. The location although near a busy road was peaceful and quiet, the hedge blocking any views of the road. The hot tub was the perfect temperature for me (I can’t do heat!) but my partner found it quite cool compared to others we have used (which I couldn’t get in!) but that was a very minor thing! Everything else was perfect and we would happily recommend it to others. Thank you for our stay, Emma and co

We had a fantastic stay at Lomond Luxury Lodges to celebrate my brother’s 50th. There were 8 of us in total including 2 children. Plus our dog. The lodge was easy to find from the directions provided and we were welcomed on arrival by Ken who was very helpful and friendly. The house is stunning - very big which the kids and dog loved as they could roam about. I loved the open plan kitchen area - wish I had something like that in my house! The living room is huge too. Lots of board games available though we were lucky with the weather so didn’t need to spend too much time indoors. There’s also a dartboard. The place was absolutely spotless and very well maintained. And of course the hot tub went down well. The back of the house looks out on a big grassy area which was great for our dog to run about on. I would definitely book the lodge again and highly recommend as a base for exploring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

We were met at the entrance and escorted to the lodge. We spent around 15 mins getting to know the lodge and how everything worked. Once we had settled In we opened the bottle of prosecco that had been given to us a welcome from Ken? Mike. The lodge is very spacious with all the mod cons, we made great use of the sauna and hot tub :-). There is lots to do locally with shops, pubs and takeaways no more than 10 minutes away as well as Balloch country park. We will definitely be back :-) . Danny McGinley

We had a short 3 day break at Lomond Luxury Lodges September 2023. A 3 hour drive from Newcastle and well positioned area very close to Drymen village (nice small village with pubs, restaurants and shops). We were greeted by Ken. He spent 15 minutes explaining the areas to visit, things to do around the Loch along with how the Hot tub works, Smart TV, wi-fi etc. Really nice, likeable guy. (The wi-fi is great by the way). There was an offer of a free upgrade to the 3 bedroom Lodge at no extra expense as it was empty - this was an exceptionally kind offer and we obviously took the option. The Lodges are gated and vehicles are safe. There is a coded gate to get in/out. There is a lovely walk to The Butt & Ben restaurant from the rear of the Lodge. However, don't take Google maps (walking) information to get back from the Butt & Ben and walk down the A811 which Google informed us to do! Walk back via the country walkway. Areas we visited - The Devils Pulpit. Don't walk through the gate with the sign explaining the dangers (which looks like the right way) . This is the wrong way. We didn't know. The correct route is over the river, down the road from the parking area, and then you can get to the Pulpit via the steps. Balmaha visitor centre area is nice. You could definitely spend a few hours walking around. There's a nice pub and I understand that area is where people park to hill walk close by. Beach area is lovely and very picturesque. Milarrochy Bay is also worth a visit too. Quieter than Balmaha and beach is lovely. Toilet area there too. Ineruglas Visitor Centre area is nice too - Nice area for an easy walk along with Firkin Point too. Also very nice area. Luss is also worth a visit. Lovely village area with pier and shops. The hill close to Duncryme has beautiful views of the loch and recommended. Probably 30 minutes to get to the top - not much parking but not busy area. The Lodges would definitely be recommended for anyone making a long or short stay in or around Loch Lomond. They are well positioned, clean, well equipped with everything you need. Hot tub was great. BBQ there too along with board games. Can't think of anything that was missing or that could be improved. There was information in the property for things to do, places to eat, do's and don't, along with other info. There was a house alarm with keypad but we didn't see how to use this. There is only one Chinese takeaway that delivers. You can order via the app - however the app doesn't work. Obviously not Lomond Luxury Lodges fault but Ken can now inform future guests there is a problem with this takeaway. Communication via WhatsApp was great. We spoke via the app and got replies quickly. Would we visit here again? Yes. Would we recommend Lomond Luxury Lodges? Yes

Just returned from an excellent stay and first time using luxury lodges and will definitely be back. The attention to detail is just brilliant and the little touch of the welcome basket was lovely as well as the warm and friendly welcome on arrival, Accommodation was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was amazing. Such a beautiful place and land around for going a wander which we did and ventured to the But and Ben cafe for a nice lunch. Already planning our next trip

The area the accommodation was and is absolutely perfect, cannot fault the place or staff, super friendly and accommodating. Only downside was on my part when my partner took not well and had to dash out of lodge fast, would I go back! Absolutely, the place is pure blissful

We stayed in the Wee Acorn for a week and absolutely loved it. The hot tub was lovely and relaxing after a day walking in the hills. The hosts were excellent too and made quite a few recommendations to us. They were very obliging too - our kettle was faulty and was quickly replaced. It was nice having the barbecue outside the pod too. Everything was spot on. There is nothing we can fault at all.
