Silky Way is a mini hotel that is located in an originally shaped three-storeyed building. 29 Rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a conference hall, a sauna, a billiard room, a gym, free Wi-Fi, and a car parking are at the hotel guests' disposal. Despite its intimacy the hotel does not look small. A big winding staircase connecting the storeys creates interstorey spaces - guest areas, with soft oriental sofas for a comfortable rest. The location of the Silky Way Hotel is perfect for business and leisure tourist trips: it is 15 minutes away from the Moscow Ring Road along the Novoryazanskoe Shosse, and 40 minutes from the Domodedovo Airport

The hotel is located near the track in a building of an unusual shape - a tilted cylinder. Beautiful interior in oriental style, with antique jugs and carpets, many colors. A seminar for doctors was held here in an auditorium on the first floor. The room is not bad, but a very old projector with poor color rendition and light power. Had to play around with dimming. The restaurant offers a business lunch for 400 rubles, but we failed to try it. Measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19: the requirement to maintain social distance, wear a mask when entering, hand sanitizers on tables. Overall this is a decent hotel for one night or event.

The Silky Way Hotel is located in Moscow Region and not inside Moscow. It's a weird glass structure with convoluted architecture, but the rooms were very spacious, the hotel was very accommodating, the food reasonable (not a very extensive breakfast) and the Internet worked very well in the rooms (cable provided). No elevators - impossible for anyone who has trouble negotiating steps. No business ctr or even computers in the lobby. The hotel is about 25km from Domededevo Airport and convenient for anyone who is flying in to that airport and is working in that area of Moscow. There is NOTHING in the area around the hotel, except for a textile center with wholesale shops. We were driven to Domededevo airport on the day of our departure through unbelievable back roads and through scenery right out of a Tolstoy book - took us 50 minutes as opposed to probably the 2-3 hours it would have taken through Moscow's horrid traffic. All in all, nothing fancy, but a reasonable (if weirdly designed) hotel.

Third stay in four years and nothing much has changed.
Rooms are still dated but clean. Beds are comfortable.
Breakfast is ok but don't expect an extensive buffet like in the big brand hotels in city centers.
All in all a fair experience for a fair price.

Small hotel 520-odd rooms), with all amenities and clean. Very old and worn out furnishings of the room but everything functions. Fast free wifi access.
Breakfast choice is limited but enough to kill the apetite.

the level of spoken English is limited as well but enough to get around in a hotel (check-in, check-out, order a taxi,...).

This is a hotel that is "neither nor" . To criticise it too much would be unfair but to praise it would be wrong

Check in was OK, the way to the room (2nd floor) was an exertion - no lift, carry your bags up 2 floors

The room very small but basic. It was clean but that all I can say about it positively. Honestly it was primitive and small. The bathroom was tiny and when sat on the toilet I had the toilet roll up my nose !!

Breakfast? - well I regret wasting my time going for it. the selection? well there wasn't one. The coffee was good though

Rooms have not changed over past 2 years so you can still expect the same old style furniture. Everything is clean, room is spacious and you have all you need. Internet works well and fast.
Breakfast has more choice than 2 years ago, which is welcome!
Reception staff speak well enough English.

The Silky Way Hotel is a modern hotel with great rooms, excellent WIFI and good dining. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. There are issues with the location. Please consider the following. The location is about 13 km outside of the main MKAD ring road around Moscow. As I was on a 3 month motorcycle trip and not relying on public transportation, the location was not a problem. However, the address when put into some internet maps will come up incorrectly. The hotel is directly on the M5 motorway also known as Novoryazanskoye shosse. I spent several hours looking for the hotel because of this problem. The proper location is: 55.61112,37.976335 (enter this into Google Maps). I am fairly certain that bus transportation is available between the hotel and the #7 or purple Metro line at Lyubertsy.

The rooms were very nice. This is not a shabby Eastern European hotel, it has quite unusual architecture in the entry way but the rooms are traditional. The motif of the hotel is for a stop over on the Silk Road. The hotel staff spoke English and we very helpful. They registered my visa, they even acted as a photographer. Moscow is an expensive place to stay, the Silky Way was not cheap, although it is moderate by local standards. My room was quiet and spacious.

It is possible the hotel could be a place to stay when stopping at Domededevo Airport, but it is around an hour distant or more if you get in traffic on the ring road.

Not a hotel, but a complete disappointment. Beds with springs sticking out, the room was very dirty, hair, sand, the bathtub was leaking, the toilet was clogged (it turns out you can’t flush paper down there, but the trash can is 2 meters from the toilet).. The bathroom smells like dampness and a sauna at the same time. The air conditioner in the room is noisy. Everything that is written on the site is a lie! No discount on the main menu of the restaurant for those staying at the hotel, no compliment from the chef when ordering dinner from the main menu... the waitresses shrug their shoulders! Not professional, comrades! In addition, the restaurant is also very dirty - tablecloths, sofas are a nightmare..
In principle, the idea of the hotel is cool, there are many interesting moments in the interior, it is clear that at one time someone tried very hard.. We believe that it is necessary to “install” a competent manager and organize the work of the hotel and the appearance of the restaurant, because the chef is trying - everything What we tried turned out to be very tasty.
