Villa Mirano is an old country house that is located near the center of Piossasco, a town not far from Turin, halfway between Turin and the beautiful and elegant town of Pinerolo famous for 'Panettone', The Cavalry and for being the birthplace of the italian comic actor Erminio Macario. The Villa certainly dates back to the second half of the eighteenth century having already surveyed from the Napoleonic archives and owes its name to Gaetano Carlo Mirano distinguished guest who lived there from 1880 to 1912 and who is remembered by an inscriptionon on the west side of the house.
