What a great hotel! So glad we stayed here and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to visit this beautiful island.
I was incredibly anxious about travelling and going on holiday during the pandemic, but this hotel couldn't have gone above and beyond to make us feel safe. All staff wearing ppe at all times, temperature taken each time you enter the hotel, cleaners everywhere sanitising regularly throughout the day and measures in place during the meal times to ensure only one staff member was handling a certain area of food in a buffet. Cleaners had to be given notice if you wanted them to clean your room to avoid too much interaction, which was appreciated. We asked same morning on a whim thinking we'd have to give more noticed but the room was cleaned when we came back from a morning out.
All staff were incredibly friendly and were so helpful, but our trip was made by the animation team. They were brilliant, such lovely people and put on great nights and little events in the day. Not sure where they got their energy from!
We were given 6 big bottles of water complimentary which were needed. We were especially impressed with the offer of food throughout the day. The hotel mentions a snack bar by the beach, but it serves much more than snacks! Full meals such as pasta, salads and gyros right through the day were more than we'd anticipated and it meant we never worried if we'd miss breakfast or lunch times.
We rented a car from a company within the hotel and it was a lifesaver. Ample parking outside the hotel and you could leave the keys with reception if back late, but it gave us more freedom to travel right round the island and really made a difference to the whole holiday. I saw a lot of bus stops but not a lot of buses and when we asked the hotel to arrange a taxi in to faliraki, it cost €8 one way which was really far too steep for a 3 minute taxi journey.
Only thing that let this hotel down ever so slightly was the Al la Carte 'restaurant' We were offered 1 free meal during our stay but it really wasn't worth it. The restaurant looks like the dining area, there's nothing special about it and the food looked like it had come across from the buffet area.
Finally, the pool area was absolutely gorgeous! The layout was great, plenty of space and wherever you sat you had a bar near you. Loved being a short walk away from the beach and the sea was so clear!

We travelled here as a party of 10, booked last year but travelling with four in our party over 80, I was worried about the whole experience due to Covid but couldn't have been more pleased. Ahead of arrival, I e-mailed to request a low floor room for one couple and received a quick, friendly response confirming ground floor rooms for all the party so we were together which was lovely.

On arrival which was late evening, our temperatures were checked before we were allowed in (this was done every time someone entered the hotel) and the Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, making check- in painless. Also, when we requested additional hangers, towel change and help with our safes, the response was very quick and efficient. Staff were only allowed to enter your room with permission, via Reception, which I thought was excellent.

Our room was 1034 which was a lovely, renovated room but sadly, although it had a large patio, it was almost completely enclosed and the people in the room to the left of us, sat in front of our only bit of light smoking which wasn't great but it was the only negative. However, the patio was well equipped with two chairs, a table and clothes airer.

On the whole we found the hotel very Covid safe. The pool sunbeds were very well spaced, as were the beach ones and all areas were very well maintained. The tables and chairs at both the pool and beach bars were also well spaced. The restaurant was a little less well managed as although all staff wore masks and food was served to you, some guests didn't wear masks or keep their 2 metres whilst queuing but we mainly managed to go at less busy times which helped. I know it's hard but a menu service may have worked better but you could not fault the staff in the restaurant, they were friendly and helpful. There were numerous outside dining areas including one overlooking the beach/sea which also made dining feel safer. The food was lovely with plenty of variety and the beach bar at lunchtime was superb.

Location wise, you are right on the gorgeous beach and you could walk into Faliraki in about 20 minutes. It took around 15 minutes in a taxi to get into Rhodes Town which was only €19 in and €16 back and a must visit place, very historical and pretty. There is also a bus stop directly outside the hotel.

The hotel staff were amazing, always smiling and so helpful. A special mention goes to Dimitri, based mainly at the beach bar, for exemplary service but all the staff were brilliant and the cleaners worked non-stop. The animation team also worked tirelessly offering various activities during the day and great entertainment, at the beach bar, in the evenings.

This lovely hotel provided a little bit of normality in these trying times and deserve high praise. I would definitely recommend the hotel for it's great location, excellent service and friendly staff.

We holidayed at Blue Sea as a 3rd change to our original holiday due to Covid-19. The hotel is safe & clean, all sun loungers by the pool & on the private beach are 2m apart & sanitised each night. All hotel staff wear gloves & masks. And on arrival & when you return to the hotel your temperature is taken.
The staff are very friendly & helpful, apart from a bar worker (In the main lounge bar) who was unhappy about making 10 drinks at a time (family group).
The Animation team were very friendly & active & wore masks at all times. Plenty of fun activities day & night.
Plenty of variety for meals in the main restaurant & the beach bar for snacks, you won’t go hungry here (even fussy eaters) & cocktails are included in the All Inclusive option.
The pool areas & beach are immaculately clean & when a ladder into the main pool became loose, the maintenance guys fixed it within minutes.
The rooms are spacious & clean & would be cleaned at your request given a days notice (due to Covid-19). There is plenty wardrobe/drawer space & even a spare single bed, although the bed was very roomy & comfy. 6, 2 litre bottles of water in your room (complimentary) & even a fridge to store them in. Our room had an inland view, we liked this as we watched & listened to the goats bells opposite our room & we were not disturbed by road traffic & we slept with the door open (to keep us cool).
I loved the glittery lifts & the relaxing music played in them...very different but welcome.
16 minute walk into Falaraki town or the bus stop is outside the hotel & a taxi rank too (5 euros).
You must book & review this hotel yourself to experience its high rating, as some find the slightest thing to moan about & not appreciate it. We felt safer here, than at home.
By the way, you do not have to wear masks/gloves whilst staying at this hotel at all. In taxis & on buses you have to wear masks.

Thank you Blue Sea Beach Resort for a lovely lively safe family holiday.

As Greece was a safe place to travel according to our government we had booked this resort from 13-27 July 2020. Due to corona restrictions there was no Swedish table at the restaurant. Meaning, a hotel personnel is putting the food you choose on a plate so you have do get a plate with main food, salads, dessert and fruits. When more people arrived this resulted in huge queus before breakfast, lunch and dinner. As the hotel is not fully booked, you will have to order cleaning yourself at the reception. Unfortunately, it can happen that cleaning forgets you and you will have to tell the reception again to no forget to clean your room. The hotel is mostly filled with families so the animation was also only for children. I must say, it was pretty weak and boring, even for the children. Maybe they had cut in the animation team due to crisis. Having an all inclusive you can use two bars for your free drinks. One of them has also a little 'restaurant' that serves as a lunch place. Again, it might be due to corona restrictions.
In conclusion I can advise you to not except superb service or experience from the hotel, mainly due to corona restrictions and the impact of it. There is still plenty to do outside the hotel with cities as Rhodos, Lyndos and Faliraki. You can rent a car for €20 a day.

We have just returned from here, The hotel it's self is a basic no frills hotel, the grounds are beautiful and kept spotless. The rooms are tired and again no frills, the bed was lovely and comfortable and the Aircon good.
The food was really good and tasty, although repetitive, the chef needs to try his own food as quite often alot of salt has been used, this has been mentioned in previous reviews and it's correct ! it is buffet style and has now returned to help yourself. The fresh salads and fruit were amazing. The drinks are awful, the soft drinks are local brands and taste as cheap as they must be, they are either way to sweet or like water. The Alcohol drinks are no better paint stripper came to mind ! I drank mainly water the whole time as even the coffee was bad.
The sunbeds are disenfected every morning which is great, pool area was spotless. Rhodes is so quiet right now which is understandable, we visited lindos castle which cost us £24 to enter, it's not worth it !

After 20 years of travelling to Rhodes and staying in various hotels on the island this is one of the best we have stayed in. It’s such a lovely hotel and has everything you need. Views are amazing (definitely the best from the sea view and side sea view rooms on the higher floors)
It’s right on the beach with a gorgeous beach bar which has amazing views and serves a massive variety of excellent quality food and drink, and is open most of the day. The main restaurant is lovely too and has even more choice of food.
The pools are great, lots of seating areas around different parts of the hotel which is nice, and a few different bars which also serve treats at certain times of the day which was amazing.
The beach beds and towel service being complimentary is excellent and really makes the stay more enjoyable, the beach area is perfect.
The spa looked lovely but some of the facilities (indoor pool and I think sauna) were closed with the Covid time but treatments were still available and looked great.
The room we stayed in was one of the older ones I believe it seemed partly renovated but was still really nice (just some furniture a bit dated), it was in the building to the right on the higher floors and had amazing views. We did see a room in this building on the ground floor which was totally different decor and furniture (more modern) it looked like a family room and had a side sea view which is what we had booked but with it being on the ground floor there was no sea view just trees, so were moved the next afternoon to the higher floor but I am sure this room would be perfect if you have not paid extra for a side sea view.
We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and we were blown away everyday at how nice the hotel and facilities were.
The staff work so hard here, every single one of them, every day have such big smiles and lovely friendly attitude. They never seem to stop. The housekeeping staff also work so hard and the whole place was immaculate every single minute of the day every day it really was and with Covid times it made us so much more relaxed to see this. It was spotless everywhere. They were always on the go around the hotel. The full hotel was so organised and with Covid procedures always in place there were always masks and sanitiser everywhere and never running out, the systems in place were excellent. I give massive credit to all of the staff, housekeeping, bar staff, reception staff, chefs, animation, as they all make this hotel what it is and make our holidays so amazing. Thank you.

We recommend this hotel to anyone of any age. It caters for everyone. We will hopefully be back in the near future.

We have stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in August 2020 with all inclusive package. This hotel is just about 15 minute taxi ride from Rhodes airport, you can book taxi with the hotel for 30 EUR. The hotel itself is little bit older, but very bright and clean. 2 incredible pools, private sandy beach with pool bar. Staff always friendly and always smiling. In addition to current corona-pandemic, the staff did their best to ensure the guest security, all staff wear masks and gloves, temperature has been taken by staff of all entering guests, all inclusive meals were served only by staff - you go to a buffet, where you say what you want, you dont take it yourself. The only downside for us was that the food offer was quite limited and after 5 days I didnt know, what else to eat... Otherwise a great getaway in these crazy times. Thank you, we will definitely reccommed your services.

This hotel is great, the staff are all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble . Food was very tasty and a good variety. During this unusual time we are in the staff at this hotel made everything feel effortless and very safe. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff worked hard keeping it sanitized. The location is amazing right on the beach , there are a few shops within a 5 min walk away but either a 30 min walk or 5 min in a taxi (around 6 Euro) you can be in the center of Falaraki. The outdoor pools are lovely and spotlessly clean, there is also an indoor pool which we did not use at this visit. The entertainment staff ( Radion, Isabelle, Daniel and Monica) made our holiday complete they were extremely friendly got everyone involved with daily and nightly activities. Rhodes old town is definitely worth a visit lots of shops and restaurants as well as lots of historical sights to see i will definitely be returning to this hotel.

We stayed at Bluesea Beach resort Rhodes for 10 nights all inclusive after having had good experiences staying at other Blusea hotels and we found this to be the best one yet for our needs.
The staff in all departments were friendly and obliging, couldn't do enough for us.
the food and beverages were good, varied and readily available all day from several different locations with the option to book the very good ala carte restaurant and burger bar once during our stay.
The room was spacious, clean and contemporary with free safe, fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and bottled water. It was cleaned and beds were made every day and clean towels supplied every other day or when requested from the cleaners.
The private beach deserves its blue flag status and is two minutes walk from the accomodations with ample sun beds and parasols and a fantastic beach bar where there is adequate entertainment every night and beach towels are supplied at no charge. Water sport activities and boat trips can be booked from the adjacent beach.
The two swimming pools are clean and well maintained with plenty of sun beds available.
There is a shop on site selling all essentials.
The location is ideal with stops right outside where you can catch buses to Rhodes old town 30 mins, Falaraki centre 10 mins and Lindos 90 mins. There is also a shopping centre in easy walking distance, a water park a short bus ride away and a small road train which tours around several different areas.
We have spent a long time looking for somewhere that we can return to every year and we have finally found it, in fact we have already booked to return this October and again in May next year.

The room was ok but it could use some revamp in more than one aspects but the view was great (we had sea side view room). At night it was quiet, you could hear only the waves and. in the morning, the sunrise was the most wonderful thing to start the day with. The green areas near the pools and the hotel were very well maintained, with a lot of flowers and trees providing a breath of refreshing air when the beach gets too hot. The beach was well oganized and maintained although some of the sunbeds need to be replaced. Of course, some aspects can be improved but, for us, the most important things were the sea, the sun and entertainment and all of these were excellent so, we were very pleased.

I have just returned from my holiday here so I can answer. The standard buffet has lots of salad and cheeses, pizza, pasta, fries, chicken drumsticks, fish, other main dishes with meat. Theres also a kids section, lots of dessert options. Fresh bread, oils and dips. Most nights there is a ‘special’ - one night we had Asian theme with duck and spring rolls, another night they did a bbq. There is a burger night which you can go to for free once per visit and an a la carte restaurant which you can also visit for free one night.

I will answer this question myself as I have visited now. For anyone else wondering - they do provide free beach towels per person which you can swap for a clean one every third day.

I’m not entirely sure as I don’t really watch football, however I believe there’s a strip up the road that might have a sports bar of sorts there that you can watch it in , hope this helps
