Hotel of the 70's with bad service. The rooms are nothing like the pictures shown about the hotel. The shower area was tiny, the shower door would not close because it was rasty. Employees were painting the children's pool and the whole area was smeling paint. Dissatisfied employees as well as clients.

Just got back from two weeks in Greece, with twelve days at Faros Village. I cannot say enough about the beauty of the place, and the hospitality of the Mavros family. It is also SO QUIET there! You can order sandwiches and drinks at the hotel snack bar, but be sure to take the ten minute walk into beautiful Azolimnos...

We stayed at FAROS VILLAGE the last three years . The hotel is an explicit open, friendly and unpretentious place. We found there a Young family as management, that was very concerned in all aspects tourists need. This personal approuch in conbination with the modalities on the spot was convincing for us. From the reception you find a real village,...

We spend 10 days at Faros Hotel during our summer vacations in August. The hotel is like a small village, with a nice pool with sea view. The lobby decoration is great. The stuff was very friendly and always helpful. They gave us from the beginning a better room than that we have booked via internet (with the same price...

I just returned from a two week stay at Faros Village and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Maybe the rooms are a little outdated, but the staff was beyond friendly and helpful, they were fabulous! It is not an American style 5 or even 4 star hotel, and the internet site is a 'tad bit' misleading, but not about the sunrise,...

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks while participating in a festival. The staff was friendly and helpful, they even let us switch rooms at the beginning of our trip and gave us a room with a beautiful view. Wifi is limited but I was always able to check my email. The pool is beautiful. There is a private...

I stayed a week here and enjoyed it a lot but this is no 'resort' hotel. It has a wonderful layout with the rooms arranged in clusters, Cycladic-style, and a more than adequate 20-metre pool but has no own beach. To swim in the sea you walk ten minutes to the Azolimnos beach where there are 5 tavernas and a...

I visited the hotel with a large group of colleagues for leisure purposes. The hotel was chosen based on the information and photos provided by the website, which were quite misleading. Although the rooms are supposed to be renovated, there are quite many faults in the bathroom and the room also. On the other hand, the location is very nice,...

A group of friends went down to Siros for the weekend and even though it was in the off-season and very few people were staying at the hotel the staff was still available and helpful! They laid out a great breakfast in the mornings, helped us rent cars (delivered to the hotel), and took us to some local tavernas. The...
