What a fantastic hotel! Family friendly, exceptional service and food and a great wine list. The situation is perfect for skiing with a button lift outside straight to the main lifts and a cute kids ski school right on the doorstep. The hotel is run by a passionate team and I can not recommend enough!

Thank you Travelox! Selfishly it is great to hear the wine list mentioned in such a lovely review of our Home. We are lucky to hold some very interesting wines in our cave to go alongside Bradley's menu here at Mountain Lodge. I'm pleased you had time to enjoy both! Our proximity to the nursery slope and main lifts is something all of us really appreciate, it makes all the difference when you have the whole of PDS to discover! I hope to see you again soon, Adam and the team!

Friendly, welcoming, clean hotel with spa and ski in option. Great menu and fantastic staff. Well priced for the quality and close proximity to the ski run that takes you to a small button that drops you right by the chair lifts that can take you to the Swiss slopes or over to Avoriaz. Highly recommend.

Thank you angieb1986848! This review of our home in the mountains is very kind! We really do make the most of being a hidden gem within the Portes du Soleil system, it means you can jump into the hustle and bustle of Avoriaz or Morzine but still hide away when it becomes too much! I'll pass on your compliments to Brad King, our head chef, he is very proud of his menu! Thank you again, i look forward to hosting you again sometime soon, Kind regards, Adam

We absolutely loved our four night stay here. The location is excellent ski in/ski out access to the central Les Crosets bowl. The staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The food was incredible. I am gluten free and they made sure this wasn't a problem at all, baking gluten free cakes each day and providing a good range of menu options. We really enjoyed the specials they put on, especially fondue night! Breakfasts were also excellent with a good range of options. My husband loved the flapjacks you could take out with you on the slopes each day, I'm just gutted we didn't get the recipe! The facilities are great, the spa was very clean and new, and was quiet each time we visited! We also used the cinema a couple of times, which is a fantastic little extra the hotel has to offer. We will definitely return in future years!

Hi there Jod979, What a lovely thing to read after coming in from an afternoon on the Mountain. It is wonderful to hear you had a great holiday with us, and we certainly are lucky to be part of the PDS ski system which really is expansive! I've been here quite some time now and have still only scratched the surface of skiing potential. As to Frankie's flapjacks I will happily send over the recipe! feel free to reach out to adam@mountain-lodge.co.uk and i'll get Franks to jot it down. I'm partial to a little energy boost on the slopes so we find it helpful to have this 'on hand and in pocket'! From me and all the team here, thank you for this lovely review, and we look forward to welcoming you home again in future years! Adam Swan

The outstanding service begins before you arrive with an email explaining everything and asking you for any extra requirements you may have. I was met at the railway station by Oscar. The hotel could not ask for a better ambassador to welcome guests. Everyone in the hotel is a helpful and charming as was he. The hotel is bright, in the Swiss style, attractive and spotless public areas, with cosy lounge and bar. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The hotel is delightfully set in a small Swiss village. The restaurant is excellent. Freshly prepared food, fantastic service, with specials every day. I ate all three meals there. I'm a difficult customer. There was nothing I can or want to fault. The hotel is right on the piste. The position and Outlook is delightful. Finally two special mentions. Amy on reception couod teach any five star international hotel how to provide courteous helpful and delightful service to guests. And in the bar another equally charming Amy makes simply the best Negroni you will find in Switzerland. This place is perfect whether you are travelling alone, with family or friends.

Dear Trail523668, You have absolutely made my evening. Your kind words about the team here and what we do is just wonderful to read. The friends I have the pleasure of spending the Winter with are the people that make the business what it is. I could not be prouder to work with Oscar, Amy and Amy and am so happy to hear them acknowledged on a forum such as this. I will let them know first thing in the morning how highly you have spoken of them, I'm sure they will be chuffed to have made an impact on your stay! Next time your first Negroni from Amy is on me, I look forward to seeing you soon and thank you again for taking the time to write this lovely review Kind regards, Adam Swan
