A great place & host. We had wonderful time in this beautiful area and vitsa is a charming village. Maria host us so kindly, helped with anything we needed in a warm Greek way, breakfast is delicious with home made pastry her mom baking herself.
Room is comfortable and spacy with a cozy home atmosphere.

The staff was very friendly and warm and they offered us valuable guidance as to which places to visit in our 4 day trip. Breakfast was very good and every day local recipes were also added. The room was spacious and clean, but nothing extraordinary. The village where the hotel is situated is close to all worth visiting trails and Zagorochoria villages. I'd definitely go again.

Very warm welcome by Maria and her family. We had made a mistake in the date for our booking, but they found a solution for us free of charge, very smoothly arranged. Very cozy hotel in a beautiful location in a beautiful village. The square with the plane tree, where you can have breakfast and dinner, looks like a film set. The breakfast is fresh and made with love. The rooms are authentic and cozy.
We received a lot of information for a day trip through the Vikos Gorge. Don't forget to bring lunch from the big city, as there are no shops in the small villages of the area. Enjoyed it very much!

I ⁇ 't recommend it as it lacks basic hospitality features. The owners/employed cattle, the breakfast under moderation without there is not a single employee in the place or need something from the tenants at the time they served it. One morning there was no table in a shady place in the outdoor space and we were suggested to sit in the reception / lounge area, which was terribly untreated and with strong elements of mess. At the table we sat, no one was sensitized to lay a table cloth. The bathroom is suffocating - claustrophobic and with the sink permanently refusing to swallow the water ... . With us in the room stayed throughout our stay and two spiders who had knitted their fabric in the fire extinguisher. Probably one could overlook all this if the hotel staff were just smiling and pleasant and showed the mood that they are there to make your stay special in a beautiful place .... by the way !

Very good location, in front of a small square with a very nice view of the mountain and the village of Ano Vítsa. Very kind and friendly staff. Traditional and beautiful accommodation. Quiet, clean and spacious rooms. Simple breakfast, especially the pie.

Very large rooms, the side beds are really big.
The breakfast satisfying, the only problem that there was smell of food on the upper floor
The square in front of the accommodation a poem, from there start many paths that lead to the canyon and nearby villages!

We were recommended the restaurant in the square of Vitsa and found this gorgeous restaurant.
Beautiful views ,lovely family who were the staff and amazing tasty food.
So delicious we rolled out of there.
Tasos one of the owners told us the history of the area and so much useful information.
Ended up spending a few hours there .
Would definitely recommend,we were not staying at the hotel but am sure it is as great as the restaurant!

We stayed for 6 nights.
The rooms are very basic and spacious.
The bathrooms are very small and dense.
We didn't enjoy the breakfast which was too poor, towards the end of our stay we even skipped it.
The family that run the hotel are very nice, though, friendly and helpful.
I think the biggest problem is that the village itself is boring, without any interesting options for the evenings.

This hotel is in the beautiful Zagorahoria area of Greece. An area full of beauty and little villages and rivers and stone bridges. This hotel is in the village of Vitsa, which is just next to the village of Monodendi, which is the last village on this road. The hotel is lovely and clean and the room was lovely and clean but it didn't have a fireplace that some rooms had pictures of. There was never anyone at reception so you have to keep going to the adjoining restaurant to get service. On arrival in the afternoon we didn't have any hot water so I am guessing, they only put it on when the guests are in. After a 5 hour drive we didn't want to go out with out freshing up, but couldn't wait for the water to be hot. The morning was when we were most surprised and let down! The hotel room price was including breakfast, but we now wish it hadn't! The breakfast was the most disappointing part of our stay! The staff here are lovely but it would be only fair to make this hotel with a set breakfast for everyone, they just cannot cope with many guests and the cold buffet style of breakfast they serve is just not sufficient. Firstly, there is nothing hot for breakfast, no cereals and no toast and on 2 mornings there were no plates or cups so we had to go to the adjoining restaurant to ask for service....not the best way to run a hotel. Coffee had finished every morning so we had to ask for it to be refilled as were the teabags. There were 7 pieces of a vegetable pie but with some people taking 2 (as they were entitled to) there was not enough for the 10 guests at breakfast. We waited for it to be refilled, but it wasn't! There is one big bowl of Greek yoghurt and rolls and jams and hard boiled eggs and a lot of pieces of cakes....if you like sweets for breakfast then you will probably be ok, but if you are walkers in need of a good hearty breakfast then this is not for you! This is a very poor meagre buffet breakfast but it is not enough for the guests that stay here. If they had a set breakfast then everyone would have the same and not fight to be first at the tables. At the end of breakfast it really looked so messy. I believe the breakfast was €7 each but for a coffee and piece of cake this is way too expensive! The room was cleaned daily although I did have to ask for clean towels, which wasn't a problem but some guests would just expect it. One thing that did concern us was the way all the room keys were just laid out across the reception desk for anyone to take. As the reception desk isn't manned I suppose they do that for guests to get their keys in the evenings, but seeing that, we chose to take our key out with us daily. After seeing the state of breakfast we chose not to eat in the adjoining restaurant, we went to Monodendri where there are many restaurants to choose from. This is a lovely hotel with lovely staff but it should give the option of rooms without breakfast or else have staff to serve a set breakfast to all guests. You cannot have a buffet breakfast then use the excuse that some people eat too much so there is nothing left for other guests.
