We stayed in a Friar Tuck lodge for a long weekend break. There are a number of different lodges to choose from ours had been recently refurbished hence it was fresh clean roomy and well equipped, Wi FI would of been nice. All the lodges sit in small wooded area with Rufford Park just across the road for long walks...

What a fabulous place. We stayed this weekend in the Friar Tuck lodge. The facilities are great and there are so many activities for children to do. Our boys were in Seventh Heaven! The 2 men, Corey and Konor, who run the activities programme were amazing with our sons - gave them great instruction and were incredibly patient. The lodge...

This is perfect for a nice quiet weekend. You have to drive through a little stream en route to the park. It is beautiful woodland with a nice park and a treehouse. Absolutely love this place. Wishes they had more to do on site but it's so peaceful. Haven't been back since the silly laws changed about school holidays as the prices shoot up well beyond my affordability. However, I'm determined to come back here.
