This place is stunning, the attention to details in the property is amazing. Booked for husbands birthday as a surprise. Jule made me aware of deals on the room, recommended a nearby restaurant even offering to book a table for us. We were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and shown to our suite. The kings suite is just stunning room at the tops of the property in a gothic decor. It really was a luxury for a get away. The hosts make us feel welcome and we didn’t feel rushed to check out the day we left. We will definitely book again.

The owners of this place made last minute changes to accommodate us on our way down from Blackpool. We had been holidaying in the Lake District when my husband suffered a major heart attack and ended up undergoing open heart surgery. There was no way he could make the trip back to Norfolk in one go, so at extremely short notice our hosts made space for us to stay. They could not have been more kind and more helpful, just superb. The place was also stunning, the food fantastic and the peace was most welcome after a 3 week stay in hospital. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

My boyfriend had booked this as a surprise and when I walked into the Kings Chamber I was speechless! Everything is beautifully medieval and gothically decorated, the bed is enormous and so comfortable. Lots of little touches that didn’t go unnoticed and we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Literally felt like royalty when we came down for breakfast, everything was delicious and presented perfectly. The host Jules and her family were very friendly and we loved chatting and sharing stories. I wish we had more time to spend there.

My husband and I stayed here Saturday of the bank holiday in the Kings Chamber all I can say is a big WOW. It is absolutely stunning and all designed by the owners Julie and Hugh. Pimms on arrival followed by an outstanding breakfast with buzz fizz the following morning. Both Julie and Hugh could not do enough to make our stay such a memorable one hence to say we will definitely be returning Angela and Keith Spencer Blackburn

From parking the car to leaving, Julie, Hugh and Shelley made us feel at home and welcome. The King room was fabulous and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was off the scale! As was the quality of the breakfast. People making this much effort in their business, deserve the success they have. Would we return again? Absolutely, I'm a heart-beat!

We stayed at Manor Court for our 30th wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is amazing and it was lovely to hear how it had evolved over time. Our only dilemma when booking was whether to go for the King's room or the Queen's room. We decided on the Queen's room; probably the most beautiful room we've ever stayed in. Our hosts Julie, Hugh and son Shelley were very kind, thoughtful and helpful. The prosecco on arrival was such a lovely thing to do and made our stay special from the very start. Our hosts were lovely to talk to and great for asking for suggestions on what to see and do. We very much appreciated the lifts to the Riverside for our evening meal on both nights. The food there was lovely as were the delicious breakfasts at Manor Court. There's nothing I would change about our two night stay. Maybe next time we'll try out the King's room so we can compare the two! Thank you for making our 30th wedding anniversary a very special one!…

Just returned home from a lovely weekend staying at Manor Court to celebrate our daughters wedding . The hotel is very quirky and different which really appealed to us all and it definitely didn’t disappoint !!! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating . We were all a little disappointed that we were not offered a cooked breakfast that many reviews rave over for this hotel ,even so continental was nice but would have been good to have had the option and feel we missed out for some reason . Nevertheless didn’t retract from this most brilliant weekend

This place is truly one of a kind. It is luxury at its best. Julie and her husband are amazing hosts and it give a feel of 'home from home'. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was fit for a king and queen. The rooms at the hotel are exquisite. We stayed in the Kings Chamber and it took our breathe.
