Pros: *AMAZING* view of the ocean from the 'middle' bungalows, the room was all glass and view. The best croissant I've had in Brazil. The best restaurant in Morere for sure. Located in the Morere 'village' which is really calm and easy going. Not a lot of people near by. Cons: To get to the best bungalows, you have to... More

We had a spotless bungalow at the top of the hill, with the most gorgeous view. Beds were comfy, and there is a really nice beach if you talk a long walk to your left out the gate from the place. It's a pretty remote location on the opposite side of the island from the main town, so you can... More

Charming bungalows in an exceptional natural setting, where you can interact with nature. The bungalows are situated at a fantastic nice, alternative, quiet beach. The staff gave us a warm welcome and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. Everybody was extremely friendly and provides us with an excellent service. The food in the beautiful restaurant is excellent.... More

We loved this hotel, for the quiteness, the views from the rooms, the food. I like the style of the bungalows, no TV, all glass around to get the best of the view. The accueil is warm, service impeccable, very attentive. I am looking for to be back.

The undoubted star of the show are the bungalows sited on top of a small hill overlooking Morere village and its sheltered cove. With full height sliding glass doors these present magnificent views down the coast line and across the island. Inside the bungalows are well fitted, with a good sized wet room style bathroom, a sizeable bed and a... More

We absolutely enjoyed our stay there. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. Whatever we asked for was provided. (such as a a second lounge chair to enjoy a romanic sundowner in the room). The breakfast and the dinners were very good but the best part was the view from our bungalow (#3) Even on a day when it rained heavily... More

This was our 3rd time in Brasil but the 1st in Boipeba and we loved every minute of it. Thanks to the precious help of Isabelle we were able to organise our transfer from Salvador quite efficiently (as efficient as you can be in Brasil!). We were 2 families of 2 adults and 2 kids each and decided to take... More

The Alizees is a small hotel run by a french-portuguese family in two generations. Don't expect top room service and be prepared for a hint of Fawlty Towers. However, you will be more than compensated with heartfelt attention, super-friendly staff, delicious breakfast, very good dinners, a fantastic location with amazing views and easy access to all the "attractions" of this... We stayed for four nights at this pousada fare out. From Pelourinho in Salvador our pousada there arranged a taxa to drive us to Valença for 250R$ inclusive ferry. From Valença we went by speed boat (1 hour 70 R$ for two) and then a wheelbarrow for our luggage (10 R$) brought to the tractor (60 R$ for two) and... More

Stayed one week with my husband. Right near Morere beach and within walking distance to a couple more beaches nearby. Rooms are very comfortable and have the most beautiful view to Morere beach down below. Breakfast and dinner are excellent. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Not to miss: day trips to explore the island, organized by the hotel.
