This was the first time we have stayed at a Travelodge as we usually stay at premier inns but we left our booking too late and the premier inn was fully booked and we needed a hotel for the night before travelling to Belfast on the ferry the next morning. Hotel was clean and room had everything we needed for a one night stay. We went across the road to the Village Hotel for something to eat and drink, the food reasonably priced but drinks expensive. We returned to our room which backed on to Pool Lane and because it was a very warm evening kept the window open but the traffic was noisy but even after closing the window you could still hear traffic so didn’t sleep very well. If staying here ask for a room with a high floor overlooking the car park as I’m sure it will be quieter. We paid £71 for the experience but because it was a late booking we can’t complain too much.

We had a room booked at the village hotel opposite for an extra £30 which included access to all facilities including pool, sauna and also breakfast. However they had to cancel our room as they had over booked soo we booked the travelodge, room was OK, fairly comfortable bed, room was hot, they provided a fan that didn't work, couldn't be bothered to faff ask ask for another at 12am. When we first arrived we had to wait around 10 minutes to get in touch with someone to come to reception. Not any difference in the room compared to any other ones we have stayed in previously which had varied between £40-£75, this room was £108 and we just felt in was a little over priced.

Stayed at the Lodge for 5 nights. On the 4th night we returned to the bedroom to discover the room had not been serviced. We reported this to reception and confirmed that we had placed the necessary sign on the bedroom door well before the required time and yet the bed had not been made, mugs had not been cleaned, the refreshment tray had not been replenished and the toilet had not been cleaned. We were told that the lodge had been "extremely budy today". This was no excuse. We were not offered any compensation for this inconvenience. The room had not been hoovered during our stay. We doubt we shall return.

On arriving after travelling 11 and 1/2 hours there is no facility to relax and have a drink or a bite to eat you had to go across the road to the village hotel for these facilities which in my opinion is not acceptable had we not pre paid we would have changed where we were staying. We we arrived the reception was empy and we waited for 15 mins before someone came, she was very friendly and helpful and apploigised that she had been putting linen away. I will never stay in a travel lodge after this experience as we were there to attend a funeral and I had my eldarly father with me and found the lack of on site facilities added to an already stressfull event

So thankful to Bromborouhh ravelodge. They have been amazing and so suppirtive since I had major house floodd 3 months ago, and still here for foreseeable. Its also the only place that welcomes dogs ( & other pets) and for minimal price too. Have a Lovely family room for me, my 86yr old, vulnerable mother and my labrador. The room has extra beds, duvets, pillows & the staff work so hard keeping rooms exceptionally clean, linen changes, tea & coffee top ups and communal areas spotless. Their attention to detail and to be helpful is amazing.
Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, who are extremely friendly, attentive and professional at all times, even when faced with difficult situations not in their control.
They have made my enforced home situation far more tolerable and stress free. Thank you so muuch Michelle, Dawn, Donna, Hannah and all their staff too numerous to mention here.

As a disabled person staying at the hotel for an extended period I have found the staff really helpful who cannot do enough to help me out. The room was spotlessly clean and bathroom perfect for my needs and disabilities, any extra tea and coffee was available at any time and the local facilities made it easy getting anything I wanted. Special mention to Michelle the Manager and Hannah for looking after me.

A friendly and efficient receptionist booked me in quickly. The room and bathroom were very clean with a very comfortable bed. Even though the Travelodge was nearly full there was no noise disturbance at all. A very pleasant experience.
