Sixteenth-century Grade 2 listed farmhouse a mile from the centre of Brenchley village, at the end of a quiet lane and surrounded by apple orchards. Rooms sympathetically modernised with every luxury you would find in a hotel, including wifi, flat screen TV with DVD and ample parking. Log fire burning in the colder months. Good pubs nearby for an evening meal. The ideal setting for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, near several National Trust gardens and castles nearby but still within easy reach of Tunbridge Wells (8 miles), the South Coast (one hour) and London by train in 45 minutes Paddock Wood Station 3 miles). Fresh local produce used where possible. Homemade marmalade and jams.

Delightful B&B deep in the Kent countryside surrounded by orchards and vineyards. Very comfortable and spacious room (we were in the ground floor bedroom) with lots of thoughtful touches to help ensure a first-rate stay.

Had a work offsite at The Bull at Brenchley (also excellent BTW) but needed overflow rooms, so two of the group stayed at Hononton Cottage: a short car journey away. Hosts Simon and Sandy could not have been more charming and welcoming. Every need was catered for: the sherry in the room was a particularly nice (and enjoyable touch). Delicious breakfast and came away with two jars of their homemade marmalade. Cannot fault and would not hesitate to recommend! Gnatone

Everything about my stay at Hononton Cottage was supurb. My stay exceeded all of my expectations. The roses were blooming all around the cottage which only enhanced how pretty everything was. The hosts were exceptionally hospitable without being in any way intrusive and all of the amenities - including an excellent breakfast, were first rate.I would stay here again for sure.

What a beautiful place to stay! Hononton Cottage is located at the end of a country lane near the village of Brenchley. It is a short drive from there to so many places of interest including Pashley Manor Gardens, Sissinghurst and 3 wineries Hush Heath, Chapel Down and Biddendum. We stayed in the superbly appointed and spacious Willowpit Garden Room, which has its own private entrance and a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom is modern with a shower over a bath. Everything is immaculate. There is everything a guest could need, including a kettle with various teas, a hairdryer and various toiletries. Simon and Sandie were lovely hosts, advising on the local places of interest and the best places to eat. They provide a welcome cup of tea on arrival and a tasty breakfast, which included fresh fruit and homemade jams/marmalade, plus eggs and bacon etc. We would happily recommend this bed and breakfast as a peaceful base to anyone wanting to explore the beautiful Kentish countryside.

Two hosts who are excellent professionals, with the utmost attention to detail, that provide a unique personalised experience and welcome. A memorable weekend.
