A quiet room was not allocated, nor the second floor; blankets instead of quilt. The airconditioning was effective, but the shower was no longer attached to the wall, bath was chipped and it looked like the room was not being well-maintained. The hallway needed a vacuum. Room was next to service area and staff were banging doors very early in the...

Peppers Gallery Hotel combines a pleasant fusion of business and pleasure with the quirky boutique hotel design and functional business provision. Although the trip was a business one we added in some leisure time and extended our stay either side

Nice and convenient place to stay in Canberra. Rooms are great. Find hallways dark and creepy and disorientating. Lightings are eye height with mirrors lining the walls so can't see in front of you. Also very dark walls and lighting so kind of creepy

Great location, clean hotel and I got a room upgrade, except the mattress was soft and pillows uncomfortable. Definitely need to specify at reception what you need if you have back trouble like me, although I've never had to ask for a firm mattress in a good hotel ever before!.

The outside of the hotel is new and flashy and they have some great art works in the lobby but once you go around the corner to the old and decrepit sounding lift it all turns a little Silent Hill. There was a gory painting of a deer on the wall opposite the lift you couldn't help but see every...

We love the ambience of the hotel - its comfort, the courtyards, the lush gardens, the artwork, the three restaurants within the complex and the staff who are unfailingly helpful. The hotel is individual and unique.

We have stayed at this property previously prior to it becoming a 'Peppers' hotel. It enjoys a quiet, convenient location with a few good restaurants very close by. It is an easy ten minute walk to a wide variety of eating places. Comfortable bed and the front of house staff were warm and accommodating, resolving a minor booking issue without...

All round excellent boutique hotel. Very central location. My room was beautifully designed and much more than I had expected. Restaurant options were excellent and I very much enjoyed the outside restaurant and sitting areas. Staff super helpful.
