No toiletry items provided in the room, not even a towel rail considering the shared bathroom facilities. Considering it was nearly $200 per night you'd think the above could be provided. Quality of bedside furnishings could be more up to date. The bar fridge was perched atop a flimsy lamp table inside the robe. Poor furnishings.

While the reception service and place is good, the rooms, cleaning and housekeeping services are TERRIBLE. I stayed during the month for more than 10 nights, and I had rooms with wind coming through the closed windows, spider infested and the most unbelievable, an almost nonexistent room cleaning everyday (more than 3 days in a row not making the bed...

Good affordable clean accommodation in Sydney CBD. I would definitely recommend staying at the Song Hotel. Great location close to all of Sydney's main attractions and only s short walk to public transport, trains & busses

The location and price are fine , the rooms' furnishings are rather tired and the bathrooms need maintenance. The new breakfast area has a nice decor and the menu is fine. While wi fi is available in the foyer and on level four it would be nice to also have it available in each room.

It is a great location and a good the rooms were clean but the mold smell on the general floor is just ruined the whole experience. It was an ok value for money , I did not require a posh place to stay.

The location is convenient. The room is clean and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is just so so. There are much noise of motor vehicle, especially in night. So the double deck glass should be equipped.

We paid A$160 per night. Room had no shower or toilet. Must use communal bathroom. Air conditioning very poor. Bed most uncomfortable. Location in Wentworth St very good for getting around Sydney to Opera House, etc.

Excellent location - last century fittings! Location next to Museum Station is wonderful - easy access from the airport. Also wonderful access to Hyde Park and the CBD. The new entrance foyer looks great but you begin to expect the worst when you you step into the dilapidated lift. Yes - the rooms match - last century decor!

Pokey little rooms, aircon wasn't working properly and three of us stuffed in a room - when it's 35 degrees and humid the one thing you want is a decent airconditioned room to go back to. While reception looked amazing with fantastic airconditioning unfortunately that quality didn't make it through the hotel. Wouldn't stay here again.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
