The spacious, elegant townhouse Bed & Breakfast is situated on a quiet residential street in the inner city suburb of Glebe where you will find a great variety of restaurants, boutiques, galleries, pubs, and the Sydney University campus. Stay in an elegant home in Sydney's university district where you will find a friendly, personal atmosphere with a home feeling yet plenty of privacy. You can walk to the Fish Markets, Darling Harbour, Chinatown, Paddy's Market, the Powerhouse Museum and the City Center (20 - 30 min. Walk) Buses leaving from Glebe point road will take you directly to the City, Central station, The Rocks or Coogee Beach. Guests are welcomed to take advantage of the facilities on offer such as relaxing in the lounge or outside in the leafy courtyard as well as preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Unfortunately the B&B is unsuitable for children under the age of 12 years. The properties has two flights of stairs, one as you enter the court yard from street level and the other to the first floor where the bedrooms are located. Therefore the B&B is unsuitable for guests with walking impairments.

Neighbourhood
Glebe
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.

For what I paid for this accommodation it is certainly not worth it! On first impressions, we pulled up outside after a long tiring journey to very messy courtyard, looked as if it hadn't been swept for a long time. The house itself was behind grills, even the door and on knocki

We were ( just ) inside the front door when we were told to take our shoes off and close both doors, certainly no please or a smile. We had a car so had to ask several times about the parking arrangements, on one of the web sites it says free parking. We paid $10 and were given t

Double room with balcony overlooking the courtyard
Hi I d like to know the prices to stay at the Bellevue during a weekend in September, for a single room. Thanks.
HI I would like to book the room but how to contact you?
"There is a shared bathroom if that bothers anyone but that did not seem to be an issue."
"Definitely not the front double room. At least until the bed is replaced."
"The bed creaks whenever you move in the front room with a double bed."
"Pink room - two singles, Green room - double, (both at front of the house & fairly quiet) blue room - double to the rear and might experience some noise when Greyhound racing is on at Wentworth Park."
"The blue double room is large and has an excellent view of Sydney skyline!.."
