The super king bed was not just enormous but super comfy. Combined with the automatic blackout blind, we were able to sleep in every morning - which is amazing since I always struggle to sleep at hotels! The tv is at the foot of the bed and had an arrangement of movies and TV to watch, plus Chromecast which was a nice touch.
The room, though small, has been cleverly designed to have everything you need and more. The tablet menu allows you to order specific things to your room, like different pillows (no charge) or drinks (with charges). I loved the lighting design, which allowed different lighting configurations for our use - main lights, ambient, night light, reading. The bathroom was compact but had everything we need, including large shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles. I prefer these to the tiny little samples that are never enough!
I was very impressed with the facilities at this hotel. It feels like the gym is an afterthought at most hotels, but it was seriously impressive here. The room is enormous and has a big range of equipment!
The rooftop is so beautifully designed. Loved the fireplace in the centre of the room, surrounded by comfy lounges. And both indoor and outdoor spaces were great to use. We didn't get to use the bar because we headed out each night.
We used the coffee machine and tea facilitiesin the library adjacent too. Very easy to use, and again, just a nice touch on top of everything.
Check in and out was painless and quick.
Location on top of Wynyard station makes it so convenient to go anywhere in the CBD.
Staff were always friendly and helpful. They even delivered 3 types of pillows to us late at night when we ordered it off the tablet.
This is obviously a very positive review, but I genuinely can't remember being so impressed by a hotel at this price range (or even higher).
Whoever designed this space and experience knew the limitations of the site and used it to their advantage. Well done!

Hotel staff were lovely and welcoming. The elevators smelled nice upon arrival and departure with a useful hand sanitiser mounted inside. Room was minimalistic as anticipated and gorgeous. We got the champagne on arrival package and the rooftop bar was spectacular. Staff were also nice there. The "library" was also adorable (haven't seen many hotels have a library from my experience) and the unlimited coffee/tea machines there were thoughtful. Amenities were Australian, sustainable and premium so it definitely assisted with the lux feel however a pity that toothbrushes and toothpaste were $4 each. The free movie library was also quite diverse and not disappointing. I also really loved that they encourage you to take their sustainable slippers! (You should skim through all the info on their tablet after you check in - they've got some discount codes on some products). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We had a staycation at the Little National as we were attending a Sydney Festival event at Barangaroo. The location was superb and so easy to access from Wynyard Station - Just head up to the Clarence St exit and it is immediately on your left. Just 5 minutes walk to the shopping/eating part of Barangaroo so lots on offer if you want to eat out. The bar and lounge on Level 11 were welcoming and comfortable. Just a push of a button on the in room tablet and we had extra towels delivered within minutes. All staff we met were friendly and efficient. We can’t wait to have an excuse to come back!!

The entrance is a bit hard to get to if you don’t look hard enough but other than that, the location is amazing and close to many highly rated restaurants and bars. The room comes with chrome cast option for personal entertainment preference, and Bluetooth connection for music playing. The room, though on a small side, is sufficient for solo traveling. It is also equipped with some amenities. There is no toothbrush or toothpaste but it can be purchased from their room tablet.

Overall, a good, clean, comfortable room to stay in and definitely will choose this place again when I visit Sydney.

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your wonderful review. We are happy that you enjoyed your little stay with us. Our hotel is like a little oasis in the heart of busy Wynyard, that is why it might have taken a little bit more time to find us :). I was impressed with my night at the Little National Hotel the staff were friendly, accommodating from the time I arrived to when I left. The room is compact but has everything you need and the bed was like sleeping on clouds felt so relaxed the next day. The rooftop bar has a good selection of spirits, great staff and wonderful surrounds the greenery and openness makes you forget you are in the middle of the city. Location is convenient 2 minute walk from Wynyard Station and close to Barangaroo and lots restaurants and bars. My deal was great value especially for a solo traveler it included a late check out and drink on arrival.

While the rooms are small (17 square meters, as wide as the length of the very large king bed) they pack a punch way higher than rooms 3 times the size.

The bed is amazing, with blackout blinds and very high quality bedding you can sleep for days.

The room is perfectly designed and goes way above what most hotels provide with very fast wifi 400Mbps+ upload and download, a giant tv mounted on the wall above the foot of the bed with chrome cast functionality built in, it’s very convenient and feels like home.

Bathroom is great makes great use of space to give a big shower and has great toiletry products.

Our stay at Little National Hotel Sydney was delightful. It's the nicest hotel I have stayed in for a long time and it had all the mod cons you could ask for. The central location is within walking distance of everything in town, whether it be a spot of shopping or a wine and dine experience. The bed was dreamy and I slept very peacefully.

Everything is fresh and new and very COVID-friendly with no touch check in / out and lifts. The room is connected to Bluetooth so you can play your own music on the room's hidden speakers, the lighting is adjustable for all needs and moods and even the blinds are automated.

We loved the WOW rooftop garden bar and lounge and enjoyed working our way through the cocktail list. Very impressive all round, highly recommend it.

I sometimes like to score my hotels/stays for fun. I stayed for 3 nights so I have a bit to talk about.

5/5 Location: Literally right beside Wynyard station. You can't go wrong. There is a bus station across the road and the hotel is smack in the middle of the city. Its a great place to stay in that sense.

5/5 price: For location and what you get in the hotel, I feel like I really got a good deal. I felt well-rested which was great since I did a lot of walking throughout the day. Some people just get a hotel to sleep in, and spend majority of their time outside exploring. This was more than just a place to rest your head after a long day touring the city.

4/5 Room: The bed is great, best bed I've slept at. Its like sleeping on a cloud, you literally just sink into it but not "sink to it like a waterbed sink into it". A good kind. Movie options was a bit bare for me, wasn't much choices. I had a bit of an issue with the wifi in my room, my phone kept getting kicked out so I kept getting switched to my data without me noticing (so I ran out of data) hence the 4 stars. Room was very comfortable and I like the shampoo, conditioner, and soap they had on offer. The T2 Tea and Nespresso coffee in the room was great too. The bluetooth speaker that is also in the bathroom was my favorite new addition (tell the guys at Canberra to put those into their rooms, they are great!). And I've checked, pretty soundproof in the room. I was playing loud music and stood outside to check because I felt a bit bad/guilty about the noise, barely heard anything.

5/5 Hotel Amenities: The rooftop bar/lounge/library was amazing. My favorite was the outdoor area, I like to stay for a few hours to read a book under the stars, drink a put of tea, and wind down for the night. You don't get to do that at just any hotel let me tell you. I've ordered menulog a few times as well and I like how the hotel gives you cutlery and plates. Shame they close so early at night though, I understand closing the bar and the outdoor area, but at least keep the tea and coffee station open :(

5/5 Staff: Staff was all very accommodating for me, I can't complain really. Everyone was smiling and looked happy to be there.

Was it worth it? 24/25 Overall, a resounding yes for me. There were a few hiccups with the wifi and the fact that the emergency alarm rang when I first arrived so all us guests had to walk down 7+ flights of stairs and wait outside but outside of these things, I really enjoyed myself!

This is a clever little hotel situated in a convenient location for the train to the airport, buses, the city and Barangaroo. The staff were universally welcoming and the rooms, even though small, were well designed, quiet and spotless. The lounge area upstairs was beautiful. We felt like we were in an exclusive club. Very good place for couples or people on shortish business trips

Hi Kathie, The Clarence Street in front of the hotel is a no-stop zone. However, some taxis do stop for a quick pickup and drop when it is not busy. We can also book a taxi for you via 13cabs if you let reception team know. They either stop in front of the hotel quickly, if not they go behind in the York Lane for pickup and drop. Hi Getaway, At the moment our breakfast is $28 per person. The breakfast voucher can be purchased from our reception. You will need to take this voucher to the Nook cafe, which is located in front of out hotel. They will then provide you with a menu to select from. You can select 1 breakfast item along with a hot beverage or juice. You can also book the rooms with breakfast included in our website. However, on weekend Nook cafe is closed so we do not offer breakfast vouchers on weekends. We also serve light breakfast items in our rooftop bar from 7AM. The hotel only has super king sized beds, however we can assist with providing an additional doona for the bed so you don’t have to sleep under the covers together.
