Very affordable and good central Sydney location. Room was what you would expect for the price. The shower was very difficult to figure out, the water was way too hot, taking away from the stay. Customer service needs work here.

Hotel room was adequate. Long walk to harbour front. Walk to Chinatown was through a seedy area and this area also has roadworks due to tram system being built. Cannot fault the Reception staff who helped us contact the airline which lost our case on arriving in Sydney.

Breakfast was very disappointing. Room was clean but tiny & whilst location and service was good, it was completely overpriced and I wouldn't stay here again. Bed was hard as a board. Request to have another couple stay on the same floor (via email prior to arrival) was missed and subsequently they ended up with a better/bigger room.

Great stay but one of the beds were broken, it was missing a wheel. Which made sleep very uncomfortable for one of my guests. Other than that facilities were good and location was fantastic. Was good to have a café in the complex.

Recently checked in at the Vibe. Room.on the 3rd floor facing the street was quite noisy and small for the money paid. Staff were good and the room was clean. Would look around a bit harder to find a larger room at a better price. Probably will not use hotels.com again as this is the second bad experience I have...

We stayed in the Deluxe Suite because everything else was full. When we arrived around 10:30am, the room wasn't ready. The staff at the reception was polite, but not friendly. The Suite we finally received when we returned in the evening didn't look like on the pictures provided on booking.com at all, it didn't have dining area and only one...

When I realised I had a spa and there was no plug, I asked reception for one... I returned to my room with a sink plug waiting for me... Other than that, it was wonderful! Especially Kate who booked me in and checked me out.

Found the hotel to be very mediocre. The Wifi was terrible, the elevator doesn't reach all floors, and the hallways smell like mouldy carpet. My room was ok, but my friends room was terrible. Also very noisy.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
