An impressive Hilton in central Sydney. The hotel is very well located for shopping (opposite the QVB building) and is about a 10 - 15 minute walk to Circular Quay. Convenient for public transport - the hotel is less than 5 minutes away from Town Hall subway station. We were greeted warmly on arrival - unfortunately, due to the hotel...

The Sydney Hilton continues the great tradition of a Hotel that has a goal of making travellers feel welcome. The ambience of the Hotel and its facilities allows you to relax and enjoy your time away from your Business or Residence. I would implore a business, conference or just a relaxation with a couple or family stay as the facilities...

This is our favourite hotel in Sydney. Great location, close to the train and shopping. Easy for business and travel. Great breakfast and friendly service. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Reception staff always helpful for the tired traveller or late arrival. Executive lounge always tidy. Will be back soon.

Stayed there 2 weeks while my husband was working and I was on holiday. The situation is very convenient as in the heart of the city, near all main attractions including best bars and trendy places to go and spend a nice evening. Practical for moving around by bus, train, ferry, and airport is not far. The hotel itself is...

Staff where rude and obnoxious as soon as they saw us walk in with a child, which made it uncomfortable and at breakfast they wouldn't offer her a child seat. Paid for 3 nights, stayed for one before we decided to move to a different hotel, one more accepting of children. I didn't even ask for my money back, I...

We recently had the privilege to visit Australia at being a HHonors member decided to stay at the Hilton Sydney. When we arrived at ~9AM obviously the web check-in room I had picked (on 22nd floor) was not ready so we were offered an "upgrade" from a King Hilton Guestroom Plus for an additional 40AUD a night that would put...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
