Nice hotel with location perfect for a city getaway. Room was very good (shower amazing). Recommended by Travel Agent and we were very happy with their choice. Only negative comments is price of drinks in the bar considering we were guests.

We stayed in a suite for five nights a few days before New Years and a couple after. Very nice and accommodating staff, especially at such a busy time of year. Although in the hub of Sydney the room was incredibly quiet. Good amenities. The only downside was just an "okay" mattress, felt a bit low-end. The location was an...

We were lucky to stay for 6 nights at the new Hyatt Regency in Sussex Street. Although the rooms and bathrooms are small and my next stay I will choose a suite the Club level is fantastic. A great view of Darling Harbour and with cruise ships arriving and leaving and watching planes taking off and arriving it is certainly...

We paid extra for the Harbour view and that was well worth it. The scene both day and night from the large picture window was wonderful. We used the hotel as a base and with the abundance of bars and restaurants close by the position was great. Consequently we didn't use the hotels facilities. There is a lot happening in...

Room was located on 15th floor, nice and high and the new wing. However it was small and configuration of the room was poor with even ceiling light wiring handing over the tv and over the writing desk. Not suited for 2 persons as it was cramped. Service - touch and miss. Some of the staff were extremely wonderful to...

Arrived today 14th Jan 2017, a bit early but room was ready. Very friendly check in and no hassle. I booked a king suite with balcony, overviewing Darling Harbour, well I must say it's just amazing!!! On top of that, me and my wife got a bottle of bubbly and access to the executive lounge (was included in room rate)....

Recently constructed hotel near Darling Harbour. Contemporary bedrooms if a little on the small side. No business centre which is surprising. Very poor in room coffee offering (instant) which is poor at this level. But all in all a nice hotel in a good location.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
