This is a very nice hotel in a great location. It is just a short walk across a street to Darling Harbour and the sights there. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've seen! There was a very large selection of breakfast items to choose from and everything I had was good.

We stayed at this hotel from 17th to 19th January 2017, We had booked a twin bedded room with harbour view (for which we paid a premium) On arrival (jet lagged from London) we were shown into a large room with a beautiful view but a double bed. The bed proved impossible to convert into twin beds so we were...

This hotel has not long been fully refurbed at the cost of $250 million and I would say money well spent . The rooms are brilliant we paid $130 a night with a view of darling harbour which was 5 min walk from hotel. The hotel bar was brilliant and well designed and prices are normal for hotels. I would...

The Hyatt Regency took over the Four Points by Sheraton. The location is convenient if you're planning to spend time at Darling Harbour, but an uphill trek to Town Hall, Queen Victoria Building, Westfield and Hyde Park. There's a staircase at the back of the hotel that leads to Darling Harbour - right next to the aquarium. The room is...

The room was very small and not updated to match the rest of the hotel. For $500 per night I thought it was not good value for money. A Cold shower on the first night didn't go down to well either. We were told by the concierge that the roof top bar restaurant would be closed so we went to...

King Room, Harbour View. The room itself was quite acceptable; the bed was comfortable and there was a range of pillows on offer. The picture windows overlooking Darling Harbour were filthy. The telephone constantly blinked with a 'message' when there was none. The bathroom was minute - don't even think about accommodating more than one person at a time in...

Paid extra for a room upgrade with harbour views, got the room next to the new bar on the 12th floor. Noisy. The hotel room lacked attention to detail, duvet cover was lumpy, no robes or slippers, toilet seat wouldn't stay up and the room service food was very average. This hotel is on a great location, but it really...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
