We had a four night stay st this hotel prior to our cruise from Sydney. We found the hotel adequate for our needs. The location is quite near to the Central railway station so getting around is very easy using the train. It is also close to the hop on hop of bus which is a great way of exploring...

For our short weekend from Melbourne we found the Mercure Sydney provided good value in a great location A short easy walk from Central Station (a quick convenient train ride from the airport) close to Chinatown and Spice Alley. Good size rooms (suitable for the larger luggage without compromising the liveability) with efficient, friendly and well trained staff. Certainly made...

We always stay here as a family when we visit Sydney. The kids love the pool and it is a short walk to central station and Darling harbour. The staff are great and it's great value. Thanks for another great stay.

Very centrally located, nice pool with great views. Staff were all friendly and the cocktails in the bar are brilliant. My only issue... on a hot day the air conditioning in the rooms was very ineffective. Way too hot to sleep at night.

Our stay at the City Mercure was outstanding. Easy access from Central station, quick check in and clean rooms. Customer service was great as they were friendly, informative and effective. Great place to stay with a young family.

The locations great and the rooms are very nice with comfortable beds and clean facilities. The problem I hound was the lack of communication between the hotel and the restaurant. I had prepaid a 2 course dinner which included a bottle of water and a glass of wine. Even though I told them my room number I had to repeat...

One of the features of this hotel I have found over the years is the consistency across all areas. Check in is handled efficiently, rooms are always clean and the ongoing service is first rate. What a fabulous place to stay in the City! So close to all Sydney highlights, a minutes walk to Chinatown and theatre and Central station for a 10 minute train ride to Circular Quay and Sydney harbour. Great comfortable clean rooms, staff helpful and friendly. Bar on the ground floor for Cocktails and the breakfast buffet delicious and fresh.

Nice stay. Concierge very knowledgeable about finding restaurants and anywhere you would like to go. Taxi service is very fast and friendly. Only bad thing I can say is that at breakfast it wasn't frequently topped up, and ran out of a lot of food at the same time.
