This hotel is perfectly located right near Central Station, so it's easy to go anywhere in Sydney from here, either by bus or train. You can also walk to Darling Harbour or into the main part of the city, or Glebe, or Surry Hills etc. The staff here was very friendly. I arrived early and was able to leave a...

Within easy walking distance of the Central Train Station and Darling Harbour, the Mercure is a clean and comfortable accommodation choice. The breakfast buffet and dinner menus are good and at the price point that you'd expect for a hotel restaurant in the centre of Sydney. I've been staying there for over 10 years now and I'll keep coming back.

For the price that we paid, we are very happy! The room was surprisingly spacious compared to the pictures on the internet! And the toilet was very clean and water was hot on demand!! I would suggest anyone to sign up to the accor hotel club because you get complimentary breakfast and wifi! Otherwise it's $10 for 10gb of internet...

There are a couple of reasons to book into a certain hotel - price and location, not necessarily in that order. When there are other options in the vicinity, there is only one reason to keep returning to that sane establishment - you like it. This is the case with the Mercure Sydney. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were helpful. The hotel was clean and the location was great. If you stay here do yourself a favour and walk round to Spice Alley for some great food. We would stay here again.
