I've been looking for a good spa for a while since four seasons had contracted a third party to do their used-to-be excellent spa service. I don't visit spa often but when I do, I would like to splurge a bit and go for the best. After few trials here, I think I found my permanent spa home in Sydney.... More

Park Hyatt Sydney didn't disappoint. We enjoyed strolling around the Circular Quay and Opera house. The Rocks area was very alive and exciting particularly at night. It would be a great stay pre cruise since they board very nearby. As a vacationer, I even felt excitement for the cruisers. :) The pool was great. The jacuzzi/pool overlooks the cruise and... More

It's hard to know where to start. This is by far my favorite Hyatt we have stayed in. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. My husband is a Diamond member and we were lucky enough to stay on points (would have paid). We were shown to our room by a wonderful young man which has never happened.... More

The staff provide excellent customer service. Staying at the hyatt is always a memorable experience and worth every cent. Views are breathtaking and rooms clean and modern. The spa provides a variety of quality treatments to compliment the stay.

It was 5 years ago that I last visited the Park Hyatt Sydney - which is before and extensive renovation which saw the addition of the rooftop suites. I had arranged for the hotel to pick me up at the airport. The transfer was by Audi A8 and very comfortable indeed. Upon arrival around 1 PM my room was not... More

Having been to the Park Hyatt Sydney on previous occasions it wasn't a surprise to find the hotel to have excellent service, a wonderful lobby bar facing the Opera House and an overall feeling of contemporary luxury. Breakfast is amazing in again an amazing setting. Rooms are elegant, timeless and extremely well apportioned and maintained. Cannot say anything slightly negative... More

I was recently in Australia, and stayed at a different hotel at the beginning of my trip, then I traveled to the countryside and ended my trip for one last night in Sydney. To be honest, I couldn't justify the expense, at $1300 a night, I could have flown to Sydney RT from LA almost twice for that price. But... More

The Park Hyatt has it all for luxury travel at its best. First let me tell you about us. We travel well. We love luxury but we also like bargains and we demand value for our hard earned cash. We are a family of 3 with a 9 year old daughter. The Park Hyatt measures up to the hype. We have travelled to Sydney many times and I have always wanted to... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
