A nice hotel, but I was not happy with the maid who we specifically told to stay out of our room until we returned when she asked us when she could clean it . Despite making it clear we didn't want it cleaned at that moment, when she saw us leave she entered and cleaned the room anyway. Yes management...

As you might have read by now, we are on a 1 month trip through Australia and came across a lot of accomodation. Also my work allows me to travel quite extensively. But I have never had such a great experience, aka beyond my every expecation. - Best Location ( in the middle of everything, more convenient not existing) -...

My wife and I stayed for five nights and not knowing Sydney I was initially concerned that being in the CBD would restrict our choice of finding some fun restaurants and bars rather than just being close to the harbour. It turns out the hotel is excellently placed to not only explore the CBD, The Rocks and walk to the...

We arrived on a Friday night and the place was really buzzing We came through the side door (on Martin Place) so essentially had to lug a large, heavy suitcase up the stairs when it would have been easier if we came through the front entrance. The hotel was busy and there was a long wait to check in as...

I have SPG Platinum status and we stayed in a suite. The room was very clean and big with brand new Bose audio system, very large TV.. but the safe box was not even big enough to put a 14' laptop... I think this summarizes well this hotel : it could be so much better with some adjustments. The executive...

We stayed for four night here, n the whole the hotel is very good. We stayed in the older part of the hotel which was lovely. Really big rooms and very comfortable. Only down sides of the room was the shower leaked over the floor and there was some outside noise as we were near the road. The noise was...

Right in the city, easy walk to The Rocks and Circular Quay. The bed was awesome, very comfortable. The Mosaic breakfast buffet was wonderful, but make sure it's already included in the room price, as it is expensive. Great staff!

Just a quick one-night stay for business. Staff were very professional and provided god service, especially as we were rushing for meetings. Check-in was fast, except they tried to sell their frequent stay scheme - didn't have time. Great position. Rooms and facilities were excellent. Even though in the centre of the city and with a room looking onto the...

This must be the bargain nice hotel in Sydney. I was blown away by the rooms (at least in the tower wing), which are outright beautiful. My room even still had that "new room" smell, so U suspect that it was renovated very recently. The checkin staff was very friendly and extremely professional, the price is very good given that...

The Westin is one of my favourite hotels in the city area. From the moment you slip inside away from the hustle of George St there is an air of opulence and luxury, but there is something else along the lines of relaxation there too. Loved the rain shower, the bed was fantastic and the room was very big. The...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
