Being built within a couple of old city buildings places contraints on the layout of the hotel. We found it a little difficult to adapt this. Our room was large and quite comfortable but the bathroom, whilst being well fitted out, was badly lit and too dark. The location of the hotel in the middle of Sydney's shopping and business...

Nice room As with most Aussie Hotels = no complimentary water. You would think when paying 400 a night 2 x $2 bottles of water per day isn't that much. Mind you I couldn't find the pay per water as well. It might be there somewhere. But due to the 20's theme - the pace is so dark and over...

The decor of this hotel is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable, modern and inviting, and the location right in the centre of Sydney is fabulous. Public transport and taxi's are very close by and easily reached by a short walk to one of many train stations, or the taxi rank just out front. One reviewer mentioned the rooms being...

I'm currently staying in room 722, the room amenities are the same as any other chain hotel, the rooms are trendy, modern but way too dark specially if you are traveling for business and lighting is important to attend to your work reports. Because am always on the run, this hotel has a coffee shop on the ground level. One...

This place is so quirky. It's really good. The rooms are dark and inviting; Luscious crimsons and alluring black highlighted with sophisticated lighting. Bed very good and bathroom also very good. Funky. The bar and restaurant are excellent. Don't be put off by the critics online ... it's definitely somewhere for those that like difference. Great staff. So close to...

From the friendly door staff to the amazingly decorated suite, everything about this place is funky and fun. The deep bathtub sits in a gorgeous bathroom where it's so easy to lay back and relax. The bed is dreamy, and all amenities are spot on. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
