Well, things still can be improved in this place, such as having shelf in the baths, and making more signs for the direction inside the MAZE, make sure to book early and ask them for free accommodation by working 3 hours every day for house keeping. Haven't try it though. It is not really a quit place because it's location... More

Claustrophobic, dirty rooms. Terrible smell throughout the building and some of the worst showers I've ever used. Don't bother asking for a refund because you won't get one. This company is run by thieves. Price not worth the diseases you'll pick up staying here.

You get what you pay for - there is nothing fancy about this place and that's the idea of a backpackers' hostel. My first impression of Maze was that it was very college-y. Lots of young people, booming music and vibrant energy. Check in was smooth and very fast. We got the private room with a bunk bed. It was... More

Maze is a massive hostel, literally hundreds of rooms. Huge clean kitchen with lots of cutlery and plates the most I have seen in a hostel before and everyone tidied up after themselves. Bathrooms were clean but it literally is a maze to find them, also were cleaned at inconvenient times i.e getting ready for work or just getting home... More

The hostel itself is okay, nothing special about it. The location is nice, you are close to the important area. I would go there again, but only if my other favourite accomondations are fully booked...

I was staying in Maze 3 nights. When I came there I realized how big the hostel is. There were much program for the customers.. most of them were something to do with drinking so there was a lot of noise everywhere. Didn't like :( Kitchen was anyway clean and there were a lot of workers making it happened. I... More

I've stayed around 6 months in this hostel. Never had any problems. Staff is really friendly and helpfull! It's perfectly located in CBD near all the bars and Central station. Every day there is something organised to do, from playing pool to going to nightclubs. Good place to meet people if you travel solo.

Great location in the heart of the city. Massive hostel which felt like a college dorm. Great way to meet people from different places around the world. My room smelled due to the fact that my roommate left all his dirty clothes in a pile shoved in the corner. Besides that overall great experience. Nick the man at the front... More

For a backpackers, I am impressed. I'm a business traveller after cheap accomodation; this fit my bill! I had a single room, using the shared bathroom. My bed is comfortable, the showers work, and the people are friendly. If you have a street room it can get a bit noisy, but you're in the CBD so I think this is... More
