Not good for anyone with mobility issues or strollers, etc... Lots of steep narrow stairs with no elevator. It was such a hassle each time to get to our room on the second floor. Free wifi from 7 am to midnight only in the common room supposedly, but our room was right above it and we had it in our...

Visited the George hotel last weekend and was pretty happy with the room it wasn't anything special but considering I only wanted it for a bed it met it's purpose very well the bed was clean and the room was quiet so overall I was happy with my stay there

I did not expect a lot at this place and that is what I received. Small room with no airflow, unless you open the window. The bathrooms were in average condition (at best), looking as if they needed a deep clean. Service from the staff was complete indifference. Many of the reviews below hit the mark perfectly- it's an okay...

Very near to market city, central station, entertainment and kind of food. but the room is small, no air conditioner/fans, no wardrobe, poor housekeeping for kitchen. Wifi connection only available till 1am.

Wifi internet is only available in common room. Room service continue to come in even after requesting them not to but at this price it is acceptable. Room is clean but noisy. Condition of shared bathrooms depended on fellow visitors.

We stayed in a very spacious and luxurious room , with excellent bathroom amenities for 5 nights just before Christmas and really enjoyed our time there. The weather was incredibly hot and we really appreciated walking through the entrance doors into the well air conditioned Hotel. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful and catered to all of our...

I guess this depend on your expectations. This is misleadingly marketed as a hotel on Wotif etc, but is actually nothing more than a backpackers. On the plus side - Great location - Bathrooms were relatively clean compared to the rest - fairly quiet when we were there, but in places like this that depends very much on who else...

For a low budget this is adequate. I stayed a week & generally found clean amenities till the Sunday & the bin in my room not emptied for 2 days. Lady in office was pleasant and obliging. Kitchen fridges totally full. Bed comfortable but pillows very high. Not too noisy from my aspect. Fan provided.

This is a great option if you want to be close to the Central Station (which is about a 5 minute walk away), and it's close to heaps of restos, pubs, cafes, etc., and not too far (walking) from Darling Harbour and Chinatown (or was it Thai Town?). Clean room, clean bathrooms (and more private toilets/showers than in other hostels),...

The hotel's advantage is its central location but it it what it is - a place to spend a night when in Sydney. The rooms are nothing fancy but clean, bathrooms are clean too. The staff is ok but not going an extra mile to help you. When I was sleeping there were also roadworks going on behind the window...
