The hotel is centrally located in the business district of Sydney. Right next door to Town Hall train station and China Town. We took a cab from the airport which was very expensive. Paid $100 USD when we could of taken the train for under $10! The room is set up nicely in 3 sections. It has a bedroom, kitchen and desk area. Being we were going on cruise out of Sydney it was very nice to be able to do laundry at night after sightseeing all day. The hotel is under renovation but the pool area was recently refurbished and very nice. The only complaint we had was the carpeting in the room. It was awful and in desparate need of replacement. Hopefully if we ever get the opportunity to revist Sydney again the carpet will be replaced! Would stay here again.

Wow, the view from our hotel room was amazing. We stayed in a One Bedroom Premium Apartment on the 28th Floor. The layout of the apartment is amazing as there are floor to ceiling windows along the living room, the study and the bedroom. The kitchen is adequate, the bedroom huge and the ensuite is luxurious. There is also a washing machine and dryer in one of the cupboards.

One drawback was that there were only two chairs at the kitchen table, and as we had visitors, the lounge and two chairs were not enough. Those extra two chairs would have been great.

We had an issue with the air conditioner in that it did not seem to work. We let reception know and they said they would send someone up whilst we were out. We came back a few hours later and the room had not cooled down. We used our phone app to show the room temperature and it was at 29 degrees celsius. We phoned reception and straight away a staff member came up to our room. He apologised and very quickly organised a room for us on the 31st floor. As we were inconvenienced, he offered us a late check out of 12 noon.

I must say that the staff were wonderful and the rooms are beautiful. The location is right near the train station and it is easy to walk through the underground mall to get to and from the station.

Looking forward to our next stay at Fraser Suites Sydney.

My husband surprised me with a night away with my Mum & sister for my birthday. This was the first night I had been away without my kids in the 9 years since they were born.

Suffice to say, the apartment & staff much more than exceeded my expectations!

My husband booked the 2 bedroom executive apartment & joined the members club to already receive a 25% birthday discount.

I went in early to finalise the booking & we were offered full day parking on both the arrival & departure days. So we enjoyed the city without paying extra for parking both days.

I then received a phone called soon after to say our apartment was ready for early check in. (About 1.5hrs earlier than normal check in time).

A few minutes later i received a second call to be told that as it was my birthday, I had been upgraded to the 2 bedroom penthouse apartment on level 41!
I couldn't believe it!

So I rushed back to check in & when I walked into the penthouse, I could not believe how beautiful it was!

The view was spectacular & the apartment was immaculate & luxurious.

We even were given a complimentary fratini each to enjoy.

We ended up buying takeaway (lots of places to eat right next door) to eat in the apartment for dinner as we knew we had the best place and view in Sydney being on level 41 overlooking darling harbour & west of city.

We also enjoyed a swim in the spa & pool. We booked a spot on arrival, so we received the time slot we wanted. (There is a 6 person limit currently due to covid restrictions).

The staff were so polite, friendly & helpful.

Can't wait to visit again with my husband and 3 boys.

Thank you so much!

I am staying here now, 2 nights, alone, for work. Booked a Deluxe Suite for $335/night.
The room I have is fine, my issue here is with their customer service.

On checkin they advised me that the booking was for twin single beds. I advised politely that I did not want a single bed, my preference was for a larger bed. The response from reception staff was basically - you specifically requested it in your booking, now you have to keep it. I could not explain why that request had been made at the time of booking as I certainly hadn’t asked for it, and the booking confirmation I have is silent on the bedding configuration. However I was asking them at checkin to please provide me with something other than a single bed, as it was not my preference. The fellow at reception suggested I should just try it, and let them know if I thought it was uncomfortable. What???? Get out of bed in the middle of the night, get dressed, get all my stuff packed and head back to reception to fix a problem they could have addressed immediately? So up to the room I went, as I was getting nowhere. Before unpacking though I thought I’d try again, as I could hardly believe their first response.

I returned to reception and explained again, as patiently as I could, that I would prefer not to have a single bed. After going in circles a woman staff member intervened to say the hotel was fully booked, so I could not be moved, and they had no staff available to combine the two singles during the night. So there was nothing that could be done about the first night. She said that she would have housekeeping combine the beds during the service of the room the next day so that the problem would be solved for the second night of my stay. They said they were making notes to make sure that happened.

Guess what? Got back to my room at 8pm tonight after a long day, to two neatly made very much still single single beds.

To rub salt into the wound I have tried twice to ring and place an order for in room dining, and both times it has rung out with no answer. So, I’ll have to go out now to eat, the last thing I feel like.

I’m a polite guest, usually not prone to making a fuss. But if I can’t rely on a comfortable bed and something to eat, what else is a hotel for? This experience has been a disappointment from start to finish. Although I travel frequently to Sydney, I won’t stay here again.

Signed up to be a member with Fraser Suites and applied the Summer Package promo to our booking so that we'd recieve free breakfast and cocktails included on arrival. Booked a deluxe suite ($254) for the night and arrived to discover that the Summer Package hadn't been applied to our booking (although the promo code for it definitely was applied at the time of booking). I was then advised I could add it but would have to pay an additional $150 because apparently the price would have been inflated when I booked it if I had of added the "free" breakfast and cocktails. The staff were friendly but couldn't offer us anything except a bottle of inexpensive wine once we'd walked away from reception dissapointed.

Once we were at the room we discovered the cupboards had glasses covered in dust and the toilet roll dispenser had no toilet paper. Sadly it was just overall not a great experience for the one night we were in Sydney.

I appreciated the staff's understanding on the day but the flaw with the booking system (which was originally incorrectly blamed on me) and the room being a bit average really did spoil the experience :(

I stayed here with my boyfriend for my 18th birthday. We requested a high floor with views and they fully accommodated us by giving us a room on the 30th floor. The view was incredible and we the room was very modern. There were complimentary martini’s and sparkling wine in our room. The staff were very friendly as we forgot our keys in our room and they happily gave us new ones. Fraser Suites is in a great spot, very close to everything and about a 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour. The price was extremely reasonable as I had been looking at hotels but they were all around $300 whereas we paid $180 here. I am so happy I got to stay here, I would recommended it to anyone.

Great location, very friendly efficient welcoming staff, we arrived very early and were able to check in straight away. Room was very small and I assumed twin share meant 2 double beds not singles which were not very comfortable! The layer of dust from the Air-conditioning was pretty thick on the furniture as well as the upholstered bedheads. I would suggest the cleaners may need to clean better and Airconditioning vents should be serviced more regularly. There was also no luggage rack to accomodate suitcase. I have stayed in Brisbane's Capri by Fraser which was far superior to Sydney. The hotel did not live up to my exceptions for the rates I paid.

Dear Guest, We have a range of rooms and suites, including 1 bedroom apartments. Our lead in room type, Studio Deluxe Room, would be in size very similar to what typical hotel room is. However, majority of our rooms are actually larger 1 bedroom apartments, so maybe for future booking consideration, a larger suite could be more suitable. As for cleaning of air conditioning vents, I am sorry your room had them dirty. Cleaning of those vents occurs periodically and we follow a matrix to ensure all rooms are cleaned at least twice a year. I will however share this feedback with our maintenance team and ensure a follow up check on all rooms is carried out. I truly hope we will be able to welcome you back again in future. We will be in fact updating all our rooms as soon as from next week. Newly refurbished rooms will start coming on line from March onward with completion date to be around early August 2020. My partner and I just spent a night at Fraser Suites Sydney for our special anniversary celebration. We had booked a room at one of the higher floors, but we got the surprise of a lifetime when we got upgraded to the Penthouse. OMG the view is out of this world and we ended up not wanting to leave our room, day and night looking out the window was very relaxing and beautiful. The service at the hotel could not be faulted, they even had a COVID process to allow their guest to use the spa and pool facilities. Breakfast was included, and the chief’s cooking was fantastic and very tasty. Sydney City is very quiet during these COVID times, so maybe a good time to visit with less crowds to support our local hotels and restaurants. If in Sydney I highly recommend staying at Fraser Suites, which have a great room & breakfast deal for couples.

We booked on their own site for $140 per night which was a bargain. On arrival we got the good news that we had been upgraded to a 1 bedroom corner room and they had left us martinis in the fridge as we were celebrating an anniversary!

The room was huge and the views were amazing over Darling Harbour and the city. We could see the coast and the Blue Mountains!

The room had a kitchen with a dishwasher, laundry and a separate bedroom. It was very spacious with a huge dining table, couch and 2 TVs. We were sorry we were only here for 2 nights.

A huge selling point is the pool which was large. Only one issue there - 3 kids horsing around one time - they should insist that under 18s can't be there without a responsible adult.

The staff were polite and friendly.

Only room issue - there had clearly been a smoker in the room. We did not want to complain as we loved the room. Luckily, there were 3 opening windows so we left all the windows open all day when we were out and the smell was gone.

We will come back if we can get a good price again (but I doubt it will be as good a deal as this one once the tourists are back!).

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing this detailed feedback. We are very happy your stay was enjoyable and please, do return when you travel next :) As for the issue with smoking in the room - you are welcome to let us know as soon as this happened. Our rooms are all non-smoking units and should we be able to establish who is responsible for smoking in our apartments, we are quick to react as smoking in our apartments can cause unnecessary problems, like fault alarms where fire rescue teams are called out for no reason. I stayed at Fraser Suites Sydney for 5 nights in Feb. The location is right in the CBD, restaurants, bars are nearby supermarkets are within walking distance about 5 mins walk. Everything u need is there. The hotel is in the middle of refurbishing. They are starting from lower floor and up. So the floor I was staying - the apartment itself was a little bit old but still okay. Bedroom is big enough for 2 ppl, sitting area and open plan kitchen is adequate for all u need. I didn’t use the gym and swimming pool. One downside was they hv 3 lifts for the whole apartment. Sometimes I hv to wait for long time for the lift. One was being used for refurbished. It ended up only 2 lifts were operate, but that’s not a big issue. I will definitely stay there again and would love to see the brand new Fraser Suites next time.
