I Had the best welcome Ever at Asylum - this hostel is situated in a amazing location , only 1 minutes from kings cross station. Outside full of shops, restaurants , pubs , super market . The Staff is so nice , and they really take care of you . Amazing common area outside and nice tv room inside -...

Stayed there for 2 nights. The people were lovely, no issues at all. The noise was fair. I mean, it was loud on the Friday night in the social room but I was on the floor above so it didn't bother me much (had the fan on in my room. It was HOT! Drowned out the base). The staff were...

Dingy, dirty and very small for the amount of people. The wifi doesn't work very well, the rooms don't get cleaned properly, it's full of long termers who are all clicky and the lounge area is tiny. Would never go back.

Do not stay here if over 25. The hostel is grimy and in desperate need of refurbishing. Wifi was unreliable. There was a dog odour around. We were told there was breakfast included which was a loaf of bread and a tub of butter. We were followed in by homeless men when returning in the evening. Definitely a party hostel...

This place is a home away from home! its carpets and Bella the dog, The lovely people and the cosy atmosphere make you feel at home straight away! You can have your own space or the company in the common areas if you would like. The bathrooms are all clean and well looked after and so is the kitchen. Its...

I stayed at Asylum for three nights. The location is very good and central, my room had an awesome view over the Botanic Garden. But, the facilities are very dirty and run down. There is mold in all the bathrooms and the carpet in the whole hostel needs to be changed. The rooms do not have AC and the Wi-Fi...

It wasn't quite the right thing for me but if you are looking for a party hostel with very friendly staff, this might just be the place for you. The location is pretty good. Cleanliness was not great but acceptable for a hostel.

Very nice and helpfull staff, especially Anthony who runs the place. Great Athmosphere among the people who stay there, good facilities and good location. The staff does also their best to keep the place tidy, the whole hostel (bathrooms kitchen etc.) is thourougly cleaned twice dayly. Wanted to stay for 3 days and ended up staying for two weeks. I...

The room had enough space, but it wasnt clean. Also the bathroom wasnt really clean. The people and staff were really friendly, but it's a real party hostel. If you like that: defs go here! It's not too noisy, but i just didn't like the atmosphere. It's okay for a week.

Is what is written outside the hostel and this would be correct. I will give praise to the staff however as they were all great! Dana and the manager would chat away to us when we saw them but that's the only good thing. The room we were put in was an absolute tip. We were walking over other people's...
