hey my names Tanya. I originally came out here by myself and I am so glad I came to Brados! I was alittle bit nervous traveling alone giving I was 18 but everyone at Brados made me feel so at home. It's such a nice hostel with tons of movies to watch, social activities constantly happening and amazing staff and...

Stayed here back in September and had a fantastic time for the five days I stayed. The location is good and only a short walking distance to the Sydney harbour bridge and main shopping centres. Met a fantastic bunch of people and had a lot of fun playing drinking games and going out on some of hostels featured nights. There...

We had originally booked to stay at hump backpackers, but an error in the booking system meant that our booking hadn't been made and we were sent to stay here, with the stipulation that the price would be the same however we would be staying in separate rooms due to that being the only availability. Unhappy with this but with...

It has everything; free breakfast, free wifi throughout the hostel, hundreds of recent movies, free gym, a/c and best of all friendly staff! The hostel is in a great location, the train station a 2 minute walk with great train lines around...

I have stayed at brados on and off for the past year of my working visa, always finding it a great base to come back to and often seeing familiar faces. I first booked in to only stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for months. I was working in Sydney so it was the perfect base. So close...

Well when you first arrive the staff are very helpful with bringing the bags up the stairs to the rooms. Everyone is very nice and said hello to me in the common areas, great party's and events were organised and super location for an easy walk home. If you want to party late in the kitchen you can because it's...

Most disgusting, vile place i have stayed in my life. Not worth staying there even if its the cheapest. RATS in the kitchen under the fridge. The fridge smells like it had a dead rotting body inside. Rooms Are vacuumed once a week. Cockroaches everywhere. Human faeces in the shared showers.. Always dirty. No soap. Staff are very unprofessional & rude...

Stayed here for three nights. Rooms were dirty and the bathrooms very unclean. They looked like they belonged in a prison. That said the rates include free breakfast and the place is bouncing every night almost like a disco but only till about 10 so you can easily get to sleep.

Staying in Kings Cross

Neighbourhood Profile
Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
