The history of this place is fascinating and they serve great coffee and I can also recommend the Bully pies. They are made out of buffalo meat and the one we ate there was so good, we bought 2 more for our meal that night. Staff and management great and informative people.

We stopped here twice, on the way to and from Cooinda. We did not have anything to eat just an ice cream but many other people were eating and the food looked good. It's a must place to stop because it has a long history and is very iconic as an outback post.

If you are in Darwin you will probably go out to the Kakadu and will have to pass the Bark Hut. This is Australiana at its best and if you have time to eat try the barramundi...the best of the best. They also offfer basic but good accommodation and are central to most activities in this area...check it out.

We were travelling on a long, long day trip to Kakadu from Darwin. We had two stops at the Bark Hut Inn - one mid morning and the other late afternoon. The second stop gave us a chance to buy food for an early dinner instead of having a meal back in Darwin. The number of people on the bus...

Very nice location and different but amenities left a little to be desired. Intermittent power outages, hot water running out and on hottest day they closed pool for chemical maintenance that should have been done overnight

Only stopped here briefly on our way to Arnhem Land with Top End Tours (Lords Safaris) but had the best coffee all holiday and yummy toasted sandwiches! Would like to return and try one of their meals. Friendly service! Aussie atmosphere!

We stayed at Bark Hutt Inn for a few days. It has a beautiful Caravan and Camping park plus well maintained units, situated 104km from Darwin on the Aenhiem Highway. Close enough to do day tours at Jabiru or the Mary River. The Facilaties are great and we spent a few afternoons in the swimming pool. The new Managers Darrin...

We stayed on a powered site for one night. The caravan park was shady and lovely with a nice pool. The new managers had recently taken over and state they have exciting plans for their venue. We had a great time in the bar which is full of interesting things to look at. The food was fantastic and drinks reasonably...
