We booked a room "on the offchance" having decided to visit the Lincolnshire Wolds and other places nearby on the way back from the North West. We could not have been more surprised by the comfort and sheer value for money offered by Hall Farm. It was very peaceful too although it must be said we stayed midweek; perhaps it... More

We had previously enjoyed evening meals at the hotel and decided to go there for Sunday lunch with visitors from abroad. It was the wrong decision. Whilst the young waiters serving us were keen they were inexperienced and/or poorly trained. Given the fact that the restaurant was only a third full the service drinks service was slow. The glasses on... More

We visited with friends on a Tuesday night and enjoyed a lovey three course meal. I was especially pleased to see something as simple as sausage pie on the menu and had no hesitation in ordering this. At first I thought the gravy was a touch thick, but it complimented the texture of the pie perfectly. By far one of... More

Stayed for just one night on bank holiday Monday. The property is just beautiful and down a country lane opposite the church. We had the hotel to ourselves. We stayed in The Hatcliffe room which was sumptuous. All the rooms overlook the beautiful courtyard. We had breakfast which was lovely too. This property comes highly recommended from me and I... Wonderful location with 5 star rooms. Dinner was fantastic..... Fillet steak top notch and Sea Bream with oysters amazing. Staff friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast was equally perfect with great choice. It was all we could have wished for. We will be back!

We loved it here! There really was nothing to complain about! The hotel was spotless throughout and very tastefully decorated with little L'Occitane luxuries added in the bathrooms. We very much appreciated our memory foam mattress and the balcony was a lovely surprise! It's all set in the tranquil Lincolnshire countryside in beautifully refurbished barns. Just check ahead there isn't... More

Saturday night dinner, first time here in a while. When we booked we asked if there was a wedding on as we have had a very bad experience with another venue near Grimsby that had a wedding on at the same time as trying to serve a restaurant. Ended up with a huge medical bill! We were told there was... More
