Arriving in Darwin, the heat just hits you like a bus, even coming from Cairns! It's quite simple to get into town travelling by shuttle it only takes around 20 minutes or so and the return ticket is about AU$30. To book the return you can just ask your host at reception and they can organise when to be picked...

First , walk in rates are cheaper than online booking. And the room that they gave us must have been kitchen before. We could see some tiles and connections for the taps. The room was really really hot ( it was October) and humid. There was a big fridge in the room and it makes the room hotter. We could not sleep for whole night.I...

Pros - Umm, let me think. Location, I guess? - Kitchen is decent. - Relatively cheap place in Darwin. You will learn why. Cons - Visible drug-abusing residents here. Thank god there is a no alcohol rule. - Rooms are visually identical to prison cells. - Hot, stifling rooms with a measly ceiling fan. You will be sweating all night....

So we arrived here after our flight expecting a nice stay. It started ok with the receptionist Kate who showed us around. Got to our room and there was a group middle aged men smoking and drinking directly outside out room. The whole place stank of sweat including the bedding in the room. The ceiling fan did absolutely nothing in...

We arrived to be checked in by a friendly member of staff Kate, but when she showed us to the room, there were old men sat right outside our door smoking and drinking which we had been told wasn't allowed on site. The room was stinking hot with a useless fan that just blew hot air around the room. It...

The staff are rude and lazy to show you room, no wifi, alot of old men around likes of a nursing home. Self confessed pepdofiles stay there. No cooking utensils. Manages office in pool area overlooking pool with one sided glass and no curtains. Creepy place.

We arrived at 1AM, so in the middle of the night. Luckily there was someone smoking at the gate, because in was locked. When we came in there was only a security person at the reception. We gave them a heads up of our late arrival, yet the security guy didn't know anything of what was going on. It took...

Nothing good to say really. The place is full of people who are almost homeless rather than travelers. No air con in the private rooms even though you pay a premium. Rooms feel like a prison cell with a metal grate door. Hardly any cooking utensils in the kitchen. Expensive for what it is. Wish we had stayed in an...

I arrived and the guy on reception was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. It was my first time in Australia and Darwin and he could tell. After dealing with the guy at reception he gave me my room key and said "need any help and you will have to wait as I'm going out." I wasn't shown any direction to where...
