We stayed here on three occasions recently and were impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the location near the key spots. We were able to leave our bags here when we took side trips to Kakadu and Uluru.

I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was lovely, it was quiet and the gardens made it very relaxing. The resort is walking distance to the city centre and tourist hotspots i will definitely stay at the Palms City Resort whenever I'm in Darwin

Fine location near the center of Darwin. Clean and comfortable room in a tropical garden. Efficiency of the reception desk to help us for transportation, map of the city, advise about places of interest. Breakfast not at the top.

The best part was relaxing by the pandanus palm tree-lined pool! The Garden Bungalow (1/2 of a a bungalow) was small, but the it had all the amenities and the air-conditioning worked well. Great location, close to the central business district.

We had one of the executive villas which was good, nice and private, quiet all day but not particularly spacious. It had a fridge, microwave, kettle and electric barbecue on the verandah. We thought that we'd have drinks out there on the evenings but it was just too hot and humid and we much preferred to seek the air con...

We found the hotel a bit pricy for the room we got. When we tried to get a nicer room we would have had to pay more than the double of what we already paid, so we stayed with the "cheap" one. The pool is small but ok, the location is good, you can easily walk to the pedestrian area...

We stayed at this property for 6 nights during a recent short holiday to Darwin. We chose the Tropical Villa which was self-contained. The villas were in a garden setting with a private verandah that had a BBQ and seating. The villas were nicely appointed with queen size bed, ensuite, small kitchenette and seating. We included breakfast in our room...

We stayed in a standalone bungalow which was very well appointed; including a well equipped kitchenette. The room was compact but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed eating out on the porch. Definitely convenient with most facilities just a short walk away. Did learn on the first day that the breakfast bar tended to be poorly stocked in the hour before...

Palms City Resort is a high-end motel-style place that is located right in the centre of Darwin, at one end of Mitchell Street, near the Parliament building. It is good value compared with some of the more conventional hotels in Darwin. Everything is very low-rise, with a set of "garden bungalow" type rooms set in very pleasant tropical gardens, some...

At under $80 per night this clean and quiet hotel was great value. Pool was clean, room well presented with both double and single bed - TV included FOXTEL and staff very helpful. Highly recommended at this price.
