Conveniently located, good value for money and within walking distance to the Esplanade - beautiful promenade walk where you would find all the restaurants and other shopping. For shopping buffs Night market is a must visit. The hotel does not have a lift, which can be slightly

There was nothing special about this accommodation. Very minimum. It's old but it was clean enough. No ants & cockroaches. We were given a room that was right next to a hall connecting to staircase and anybody could climb over the hand rail to access our balcony. It didn't feel

What do you expect of a holiday? Relaxing environment, people taking care of you and clean rooms as that is what you pay for. Of all 3 aspects mentioned, none were met. It made me think: do these people ever go on a holiday theirselves? As there are many, many hotels

My partner and I have stayed at this location for three years in a row during the New Year season. It always offers above average service and relaxation. Love the place. We will return each year. We love the quiet, private and tranquil setting.

The first thing to say about this hotel is that it is really unsuitable for older people or those who find stairs and lugging their bags up them difficult. There are only stairs and no lifts to many of the rooms (all that aren't on the ground floor), which to be honest in this

Dear 873AmyB873, Thank you for taking the time to submit a review of your recent stay with us and I'm sorry to read we did not entirely meet with your expectations. We always have staff available to assist with luggage should guests require help and if there are any ground floor rooms available, we are more than happy to move a guest should they request it. It is noted in all our online information and Travel Agent information that we do not have a lift. Cairns has so many wonderful attractions, tours and excursions available including the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, Kuranda Village to name a few and you could easily spend a week here and not see everything. I hope you enjoyed your time in Cairns and your trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Warm Regards, Craig Hotel Manager

I'm sure they can meet your need given sufficient notice. Agree facing the pool would be best if possible. And it is a good place!!

Yes they have store in the building. Drop off and walk down to the esplanade and have a good breakfast. Farr better than what's on offer in the hotel. Hope your room is on the ground floor as the stairs are a killer and don't expect a porter. See my review from my visit in April 17.

Is smoking permitted in the balcony?
Best to get in touch with them as they control their prices in case there has been a change- and also I didn't eat there. For all questions in regards to what is permitted, transfers or costs etc it's best to contact the hotel directly as this is something they can only tell you.
