the location is fantastic the rooms were good; for six adults there was plenty of space; the apartments are about 30 years old, but have been renovated "serviced apartments" could use a bit of help; some detergent for the dishwasher or even just to handwash the dishes would be helpful (shampoo or hand soap just doesn't do a good job)...

The good: Great location. Walk to 4 mile beach and downtown Port Douglas. 1 block behind 4 mile beach. The bad: Older property; hasn't been updated in a decade or three. You'll be a little jealous of the neighbors. Bottom line: Don't book this unless you're serious about saving money. This place is not appropriate for honeymoon/special occasions. It is...

Our party of 4 adults arrived on Thursday March 3rd. We were given keys to apartment number 5. The apartment smelled musty, the floors had not been swept and the kitchen cupboards were dusty. We were disappointed but decided to complain after having to scrub out mould from one of the teacups. Initially management were rude and unhelpful stating that...

We stayed in apartment 5 with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The block is dated but in a great location, walking distance to the beach and the shops/restaurants. The block has 2 pools - one kidney shaped one at the front, which is old and uninviting and appears to be suitable for young children. The better pool is at the...

Centrally located to main strip. We stayed in Room 12 and loved it. 11yo especially loved his own room, balcony & bathroom upstairs. If you want the option to save some $'s you can cook some meals at the appartment. Couldn't be happier.

We stayed in room 5 and loved it. Deane has the place stocked and clean leaving us wanting for nothing. Highly recommend for kids. Beach towels, laundry, TV and immaculately clean kitchen. Pool is small but enough for kids. We walked everywhere from the unit, so close to the beach and restaurants. Cheap and cheerful.
