I loved this place. I had the campsite to myself, not sure why as this place is amazing. Facilities great. But it is the location that got me. Not far outside of rockhampton but felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. So quiet no light pollution. Fantastic place to chill around the campfire and watch the stars.

We stayed in an unpowered site here and it was really beautiful and well kept. The site was clean with a nice, communal firepit and free firewood. The camp kitchen was well maintained with a fridge and ammenities were clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We did the Cathedral Cave Tour which I loved. We hope to... More

We visited these caves one quiet Saturday afternoon. Not too crowded and very peaceful. The caves are well worth the visit and the presentation is excellent. We had some trouble finding the way there from Yeppoon. Our GPS likes dirt roads but the easiest way is just follow the main roads.

We needed somewhere to break our long journey from Airlie Beach to Hervey Bay and saw these cabins. They aren't far off the Bruce Highway, but in a very peaceful setting. Check-in was very friendly and quiet ( in spite of a school trip staying on-site whilst we were there). The kitchen had a hob, with two rings, allowing us... More

We stayed in the Olsen cabin. This cabin is huge with six bunk beds in one bedroom, another single bed in one of the open areas, a main bedroom, bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen, lounge, dining area and breakfast bar. It is basically a house. There was a complimentary basket with microwave popcorn, marshmallows, fruit cup, breakfast cereals and milk which... More

What a great place to visit. Our guide was great and had alot of knowledge and you could tell she just loved her job. Highlight of visit was sitting in the cathedral listening to Adele's 'Hello'. Brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for great tour

Well worth the money! There are different tours you can do depending on what your interests are and all of them look so great. We chose the cheapest one but it was so great. An hour long tour through naturally formed caves was just stunning and the tour guide was so knowledgable and loved what she does.

We thoroughly enjoyed a night in the cabin snuggled into the bush. It was so quiet and we were entertained by local birdlife and informed by sign posted nature trails around the very well set out camping grounds and cabin sites. The cabins were very clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

Interesting that the caves are in a mountain rather than underground (does that make sense?). The "cathedral" is the highlight - beautiful accoustics when they played "Amazing Grace" in the dark. The " Adventure Tour" squeeIng through tunnels is available for those who like that sort of stuff (skinny gits).
