As a newcomer to GC I stayed there approx for three weeks in May 2016 before I found a place to stay long term. During that time the owners were greeting me by my name and were always helpful to provide any info. By the end they offered me a job for their friends friend. It was just nice of... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in December - it was very expensive for what it was, very small room and the smallest en suite I've ever seen - the whole place could do with a lick of paint - having said that the hosts were very friendly and very helpful - there was a nice large communal kitchen and... The owners/hosts were very welcoming and friendly throughout our 3 day stay. Our double room was on the small side and very dirty. There were stains on the walls and bedcovers and an empty lucozade bottle left behind the curtain in the room. The bed was comfortable. No tv or wifi in the room however a large communal area downstairs... More

The property is shabby and not managed well. Every effort is being made to cut cost such as providing tiny bathroom, uncomfortable bed and room with practically for no space to move around. The mattresses are tattered, the hallways stink. One is asked to vacate the common room at 10 pm. The only great aspect of this Hostel is the... More

It was very nice staying at this hostel! We were a big group of 13 people staying here. Everyone had a great time and found the staff very friendly and helpful! The rooms were a bit small but very clean - great beds! Overall - one of our best hostel experiences after traveling for 1,5 months!

Raj and his lovely wife are great managers with great people skills but not in your face. Hey helped me out when ever I needed it. The kitchen is well equipped and the common spaces were well looked after and comfortable. Great location being one block from the beach and just out of the heart of town so as not... More

Stayed for one night in a private 2 person room with the bunk beds. Room was small but tidy. Bathroom was slightly dirty and mouldy. If visiting in winter months be sure to bring your own blanket. We're only provided with one small fleece. Went to reception and managed to get another but was still freezing. The lady working reception... More

Would recommend if you don´t have anywhere to sleep or if you don´t care where you sleep. Might have been a nice hostel/hotel once upon a time but now it´s not even a half decent hostel. Bathroom smell mold and you could see that the end of the drapes was just covered by mold. Sink in the bathroom is smaller... More
